I have lots of friends with swapped 550.s and completly cut up shortened hulls... and still havnt seen a backflip on flat water... as for the buying a new sj. Imo bad idea my wife bought me a brand new 2009 sj and open credit so I blew a good $3000 extra on parts. I beat that ski for a few years...sold it for $4500...lol paid $11.900. With the extra.s... if your parents have credit u can get any ski. Credit card= am hull and parts... and as for the rickter fr2...get the fs2 its lighter if u are gonna do flat and some surf... imo superfreak (titan is affordable). Or hurricane is the way to go... nice build on the 550 by the way it looks awesome...
