I have no bandwidth limit. :bigok:
But you are limited to 12MB per pic. How can you live with that?

I just looked at Smugmug's plans. For $149 a year I would have to limit my vids to 10 mins. I pay Godaddy $179.88 a year I can do whatever I want.

Sites like that are for wusses that can't build their own web site.

Get a 40hr/wk job, enroll in an Engineering Degree full time, and tend to three little kids and a wife.

Then tell me that SmugMug is for wusses that can't build their own website.

Sorry Barry - I have neither time nor ambition to build websites for purposes that a COTS application meets just fine.

Here is some of Adam rolling Crabs X2 Thursday
Ill post more of the surfslam but i have to go and resize the pic i post, work only lets me down load so much before i get the finger.

Haw, that ski was awesome!!!

The rock shots were taken at Cape Kiwanda, about a mile south of the riding location.

Anyone got a good picture of all the rider's in a group up on the podium?
You mean like this? I also have video of the awards ceremony. Just got to get around to all of it. The web site of course resized it so you can't tell who anyone is.

Didn't I throw in enough smileys?

I started playing with HTML in 1994. We didn't have fancy GUI editors. When they came out then evolved I found it was faster to hack the HTML. If you keep it simple it's not that hard. I can process and upload hundreds of pictures in less time than flickr can do it. Not as glitzy of an interface and it's also faster for the people browsing the pictures.

You are a smart guy. I could show you how easy it is in like 30 minutes.

Smugmug does have neat stuff for people to buy pix. There are also ways that Smugmug makes big bux selling prints.

Upload your pix to me and I will show you the way! As Clint said A man has to know his limitations. Having my own site removes limitations but you do have to take responsibility.

I don't think I've bought prints from SmugMug yet.
I got into it mostly so that I don't have to email photos to my parents all the time.

The prints I was thinking of is like people's parents who are used to old school photography. You post pictures, they order prints to show their friends the old school way then Smugmug makes some dough.

It's a pretty good business model.
