Your kidding right? Yeah his xfs has buttons on it for each trick. All he has to do is press backflip and the ski does it by itself. It is called skill and that is why he has beaten all the pros, except Stoyer. What part of "overall" second did you not understand. Just stating the facts.

No he will not!

Wow, you must really have a crush on him. I think he's married......

He is a talented rider for sure, he'll be a top rider if he sticks with it.

Let's see some results to back up these facts you're quoting?

No need to get your panties in a bunch. If hes "beaten all the pros" how is he an amateur? I guess I don't understand the rankings?

From what hear he has just started competing as an amateur. Based on the last events they grouped all riders together. Than they separates pros and amateurs. So he came in 1st as an amateur but overall he came in second. Stoyer came in first. Not bad if u ask me.

I'm not sure about that first thought. But as for the Panama City Beach race, I do not believe he beat any of the Pros. With all these "facts" you're quoting, it may behoove you to do a bit more research first as opposed to running with what you "hear." OR, listen to somebody else......either way, we'd like to see you at some of these events.

The first part is 100% true. I "hear" from ijsba. Go to their site and see the results. Facts are facts. He came in second overall. He beat you, Ratti and others. Stoyer beat him. And he finished #1 in amateur freestyle. So to conclude he came in 2nd overall and won the amateur freestyle event. Anyways you have his name and his pics. Good luck to you and all other freestylers in the next event. I mean that sincerely. I hope he sticks with it. I respect all you guys. GL

Actually, From the pics, That is what I would call a sandbagger........ I look forward to seeing him compete. If your pulling huge flat water back flips in Amature comps, then your competing in the wrong class.

I'm competing on amature too, they all ride together, so we can have a decent event, overall dont count for me IMO, what it counts is where u placed on your class

Exactly! So far he has finished first in his class. It is nice to know you can beat pros when they score everyone together. Anyways. I hope he sticks with it. Lucas are you competing this weekend in Alabama?

Again, what Pros has he beaten? I can't find that link you posted to the results.....

I'm not trying to take anything away from Alex, but your love affair with him is a little heavy. And as for everyone competing together, I agree that if you are consistently beating 'Pro' riders, you have no business roughing up the Amateur riders just because you've never won an AM title.

U guys have no idea what u r talking about. But it is all good. He can't sandbag. He I an amateur. My god.

I competed in AM Freestyle from 2004 until 2008 at the last race I went to. 2006 & 2008 I placed 3rd at the APBA Nationals. So, yeah, I do have a clue what I am talking about. And I feel that I can pass judgement. Hell, it may be that the only trick up his sleeve is back flips, if that is all he can do, then yeah, he may actually be an amateur. But if he goes out and throws out Flairs, Underflips, Rolls, No handed Rolls, Back Flips, one handed/one leg back flips, Flat water 360's (Arial), and transitions them from one trick to the next, then yeah, that is called a sandbagger. When are you going to step up?

I think what you all need is a novice class . Because no other sport out there old you just show up one day and go pro class . What alex and Lucas and other riders around the globe are doing is training hard and have the right equipment to succeed . If they go on to worlds or nationals and place 1 or 2 and then try to hold back in amatuer that would be sand bagging . You can't expect first time competitors to go pro there first year . There will always be riders at the top level of each division and real new beginners too
just my opinion
