to me it seems like they moderate the neg feedback thread to keep people out that arent directly involved. Nick was directly involved with that thread and his post was allowed to be published because that is how he wanted his response to be. Even if it was against rules and getting him an infraction, that was his response to a neg feedback thread against him. If it was someone like me or charlie or anyone, it would never have been published because it doesnt involve us, therefore no infractions would be issued.

and personally I dont see the moderation on this site being bad. I have never had a post edited or deleted except for ones that never got published in the neg feedback forum. I dont really see whats so hard to understand about not insulting other members. Its very easy to let someone know you think they are a piece of chit without directly insulting them and breaking rules.

I have to admit, I have logged on 4 times today just to read this topic. I met sfl once in 06 at daytona and he was a really cool guy at least to me. Some people on here hate him but I think he has some of the best/ funnyst posts on here. But as it goes, it's there house there rules.
You are mistaken in how you think the negative feedback forum is moderated.
Here are some examples of recent posts from that thread that didn't get approved because they contributed nothing:
We don't censor what you say, you can still say it but it needs to be pertinent to the subject.
The whole point is to try to keep the thread on topic and not turned into an all out war which is what they used to do. The forum and the way it works is it gives people a place to voice their concerns, the other side can respond or not, and flamewars are kept at a minimum normally.
All that's being is done is filtering the noise out while the story still comes through.

i got a pm from the internet police telling me to take it down because its offensive.
i have a hard time believing that the autoban feature is offended by being called a "homo". it is very gay, though.
