Update

Ok, Brian (fx-6.9) called Jeff on Thursday (05/17/2007) and they had a long discussion. Jeff told him that he called his machinist and that he was going to cut new domes for us on Sunday and they would go out Monday on UPS next day air. He also told Brian to call him on Monday and he would answer the phone and confirm the shipping................................no answer.................................no return calls....................................no package from UPS....................................nothing.

At this point the only thing I want out of Jeff is my money back. I am tired of being lied to. If he would have just told us he couldn't pull it off it would have been no big deal. If you have had a good experience with Jeff then I am happy for you, didn't work out for me so much. As for the whole story being told in this thread, I lived the story and have no reason to lie about it. If Jeff wants to come on here and defend himself that is fine. Or, he could return our phone calls! Anything. We are not the only ones getting this kind of treatment so I shouldn't be surprised.

Every time there is a controversy like this about Jeff, we hear through 3rd parties that there is more to the story that somehow makes this easier to justify/comprehend (See Sharky's hood and Mile's hull, for example).

I know that ;) I was referring to Butti's comment that there's more to the story. As was Yamahammer.

Update

So we don't leave any of the story out  Brian talked to Jeff again today. His guy did not work on Sunday but they were cutting them today. He said we will have them on Thursday..............................we will see:skull2: I do not want anyone to think that all of this was a rash decision out of anger to make this thread. We have been going through this BS since we started this fx build. I just don't want anyone else to have to go through this poop. I really wish that he would get his poop together because he makes some nice stuff................but, he needs to finish the job.

hopefully friday the bs will be done- i promise all we want to do is ride this boat we've been working on for a long time- this internet whining is the only way we could get any response out of jeff- jeff seems like he has good intentions just poor execution.

oh and penguin- Do you no anything about pesticides?:skull2:  :skull2:

The Penguin

triple secret probation
8 oz lemon dish soap
8 oz lemon ammonia
3 oz 10% Permethrin

put all that in a hose-end sprayer, this one works well: http://www.ortho.com/index.cfm/even...t/documentId/f579a6c8279538f677dc1b9e16bf9c06

set the dial to apply at 3oz per gallon rate and spray the whole yard, shrubs and all.

The permethrin kills, the soap lowers surface tension on any standing water so they can't lay eggs and the lemon scent drives them away as well.

a respirator is not a bad idea when applying - and definately work with your back to the wind at all times.

Is that for mealy bugs? Definitely an insect.
The dish soap is a surfactant

sorry - that is for mosquitos specifically, but the permethrin kills lots of stuff, so your list of collateral damage will include whatever the permethrin bottle says it kills. I seem to remember it controls fleas and ticks as well.

it's bad stuff. when I sprayed the yard, any flying bugs hit with it died in mid-air.

Keep pets and kids off the grass till it dries.

one application is good for 3 - 6 months (in my experience) depending on how much rainfall it gets.

Similar formula for mealy bugs, but I think it calls for neem oil.

works great for all kind of plants:sneaky: ..just mix w/ soap or a wetting agent...:439:
