This is were the refund problem starts. With Jeff its all or nothing. Either I send everything back to him or nothing at all. I will not be sending anything back because I have way too much time invested in the pipe. Jeff still will not answer his phone when I call but oh well. If thats the way he wants it to be then thats that. The reason all this sh*t started was because of his refusal to answer his phone/e-mails/pm's on this board. Yesterday got a little out of hand with tempers flaring out of control, but damage done, too late now. I was just tired of all the lies. If you do business with Jeff I hope that it works out for you. I am in no way telling anyone to not buy from Jeff, just telling my experience. With that said, I'm out, I will not be bashing WDK anymore.

This debate could go on forever, but the bottom line if I am reading correctly is that WDK sent an intake mnfld, head, blank domes, exhaust mnfld. and a chamber (some assembly required) to TX for $800 or $900. All of these items were essential to this build and at a very, very cheap price (YOU COULDNT BUY THEM USED FOR THIS PRICE IF YOU COULD FIND THEM PERIOD). The assembly was completed and there were issues and now its all Jeff's fault LOL. Thanks for your help Jeff LOL look what you have done. I think Jeff has done his part on this build, one portion didnt work out, but the better part of WDK's contrabution is fine CORRECT. He is now saying send it ALL back for a full refund including frt. (find a vendor that offers that) because obviously he cannot make this or these customers happy. Am I viewing this wrong? Jef may have gone in optomistically saying he can do this that or the other and only occomplished 2/3 of that, but isnt that how the ball bounces w/ custom work most of the time??????

$895.54 - Tacked together chamber, 2 lord mounts, 90 degree chamber end, exhaust manifold with casting holes still needing to be filled, 2 head shells, 2 blank domes. No hardware, no orings, no pipe coupler. Once again I will state that we were under the impression that the pipe was a completely new design in an oval shape to fit the fx-1, completed with powder coating. It was kind of a shock to find it not as promised. The only thing we new for sure was the domes were blanks.

$209.54 - 2 intake manifolds and hardware.

at this level, i agree.
I think it tool a lot of ingenuity from both sides to try and make it work.

Not everyone can spend 5K on a new custom engine

Suggestion - Read On....

I've read the thread now a couple of times... trying to take a step back, here is my suggestion....

1. Bob and Crew keeps pipe... no issues as it is now installed.

2. Bob and Crew keeps manifold pieces... no issues as it is now installed.

3. WDK cuts new domes and Bob and Crew pays half the labor and parts.

If the domes are now unuseable, so be it. Start with a fresh set and split the cost down the middle for materials and labor. Both parties will take a loss, but that's how business can go when there is a disagreement. Whether Jeff didn't return calls or Bob ruined a set of domes, it doesn't really matter... just agree to disagree (however the expression goes). What matters is that Jeff and Bob had an agreement to start on a project that was considered 'unchartered territory'. They should finish the project that was originally agreed on.

Jeff,
Agree to fab up a set of domes within 1 week. Provide a tracking number and photographs to Bob at the time of completion. Ship the day the tracking number is produced.

Bob and crew,
Provide whatever dimensions, info, etc that Jeff needs to fab up the domes. As soon as you receive the tracking number and pictures, pay Jeff half the cost of materials and labor with the your Amex.

If everything works, call it a day and go your separate ways.

How does this sound?

Seems to be past reasoning at this point.

I don’t even know where to start with this, but I will keep it short and simple. First, the project that these guy’s are doing is a CUSTOM project. I STOCK NOTHING THAT WILL BOLT A GP800 MOTOR INTO A FX-1. With that said, you cannot expect me to send you a complete exhaust system that will bolt into your hull, and secondly, you cannot expect me to build you domes to accommodate a piston that I have never seen. No other shop will touch this project, PERIOD!!! I made the mistake of trying to help but that time is over. I knew better. You said to me that nobody will touch your domes. Why is that? It is not because they are my domes, it is because they don’t want the responsibility of the aftermath that occurs. It is a NO WIN situation for the shop. When you decide to do a project of this magnitude, you must understand that you are pretty much on your own. I do it on a daily basis with the composite and machining side of my business. You expect me to be at your beckon call with this and I am done. I wanted to help, not because of the money, a mere $200 profit on my end, but just to help. But, when you start demanding and leaving ridiculous messages with massive profanity, you crossed the line. I don’t need the headache.
This post is a he said/she said style that could go on and on. I don’t have the time nor the patience for this game. Bottom line is this, you feel as though you were cheated and are not happy with anything. I feel that your entire project is a waste of my time. I have no cad file or drawing of the piston, so no domes will be delivered to you. At this point I want to do no future business with you or be a part of this fiasco any longer. I will put this is capital so you can easily understand this. YOU SAID THAT YOU WANTED A REFUND AND I WILL HONOR YOUR WISHES. SIMPLY SEND BACK THE PRODUCTS THAT YOU PURCHASED FROM ME FOR A FULL REFUND, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I WILL ACCEPT THE PIPE THAT I CANNOT USE, THE HEAD SHELLS THAT YOU DRILLED OUT, THE DOMES THAT YOU DESTROYED TRYING TO CUT YOURSELF WHICH I CANNOT RESELL NOR WOULD TRY TO AND THE INTAKE MANIFOLDS. I WILL ACCEPT ONLY A C.O.D. DELIVERY FROM UPS TO ME TO INSURE THAT I RECEIVE ALL OF THE PRODUCTS BACK. PLEASE EMAIL THE TRACKING NUMBER SO I CAN HAVE PAYMENT READY.
I was going to get the domes to you, but with the constant BS posts that you are making I feel as though it is time to end this. I will respond to this topic no more, simply send back the parts and get your refund like you said you wanted. If you want to set something different up then please call me 541-231-6069 between 3pm-4pm pacific time, I will make sure to have the phone by my side.

I think that is a fair offer. Bonzi Bob does not want to represent or promote WDK in any way. Shaving WDK off the head shell was even brought up. Jeff does not want to have Bob and his pals representing WDK. By doing a 180 on the deal both parties are close to equal IMO and both parties sever any ties with one anouther. I think that is what it is boiling down too. A simple set of domes not being delivered did not warrent the multible negative threads on this issue, especially when he was not provided the information needed to cut a set of domes for this custom application.

I will type this very slowly so maybe some of you can understand. WE OFFERED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO OVERNIGHT THE CYLINDERS AND THE PISTONS TO JEFF AND HE SAID NO, HE WOULD CUT THEM AND SEND THEM OVERNIGHT. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. THEN HE REFUSED TO RETURN PHONE CALLS. THEN WHEN BRIAN FINALLY TALKED TO HIM HE ONCE AGAIN SAID AND I QUOTE "MAN I HAD TO SUCK MY MACHINIST DICK AND TAKE A SHOT IN THE MOUTH TO GET THIS DONE ON SUNDAY BUT YOU WILL HAVE YOUR DOMES ON TUESDAY" THEN ON TUESDAY HE SAID THEY WERE DONE AND WE WOULD NOW HAVE THEM ON THURSDAY. THEN YESTERDAY I PISSED HIM OFF AND NOW HE WONT DO BUSINESS WITH ME ANY MORE. SO ********ING WHAT.

He would need the entire motor in order to get the measurements necessary to cut domes.

I'm sure through all of this, that Bob could afford to ship an entire motor to WDK to get the domes cut. If Jeff says "I don't need it to cut domes" - is he supposed to ship it anyway?

is sounds like all of this could have been prevented with just a little better customer service on Jeff's end (big surprise there)

Bob and crew are innovative builders and have success in doing custom products (just ask the folks at Blowsion). Jeff has built some fine products as well. For those who have not worked with either of these parties KEEP YOUR THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS TO YOURSELF. This post was to advise others on what they might expect in doing business with WDK and to bring things out in the open. Both parties have stated their cases now perhaps they can run an iron over this poop! Even still an iron over poop is going to smell like hell when it's all over. Let these guys work it out and remember this thread regardless of where you stand. I'm sure it will come up again in the near future...one way or the other.

you do know this is a public forum right? So your statement about keeping your thoughts and opinions to yourself pretty much means squat. If you don't want other people to give their opinions DO NOT PUT THEM ON A PUBLIC FORUM. i hate it when people come on a public forum go on a rant and OTHER people say you should not state your opinion. maybe there needs to be a section to where only people involved in the dispute can only post their sides and nobody else.

Really, what do you expect people to do??? If people don't want dialog they should not post private matters on a public forum. RIght??? I think it's fair to hear more than one persons side of the story.

You're absolutely right! State your opinion if you have something to base it on other than "well I heard or so and so said." It's the people who have no basis other than hearsay making post that I'm speaking of. That's where the part about having dealt with either of them comes in.
