it's time and R and D . I garantee it will take 15 minutes to take care of your ball and spring problem . Their shop hour is some where in the 80 range (just a guess ) that is 20 bucks.... shipping is shipping . Art has been anything , but a price gouger to me . He is as honest a fellow that you will do business with. I believe in frugality......but come on It's 10 bucks......You picked the wrong sport my friend.

Im not not complaining of them charging me something. Everything has a cost but seriuosly. At some point dont you wonder what they paid for, for a bag of those things. $40. yeah that would be the aluminum and fabrication. Why would they want to nickel and dime someone before they really have spend much money with them. I sure as hell dont do that in my business.

Is this thread really about $10? Dude you are in the wrong sport...I wish there were more opportunities for $10 parts.

Definitely a fair price on the parts too. The ball and spring are the guts of the FCV. I bet the one he uses is stainless or at least highly corrosion resistant. Cough up the change(literally) or find another sport dude.

Jetworks has my :bigok:

Question: What did you expect? Did you want the spring & ball sent to you free of charge?
Did you want them for 20 cents? 40 cents? At what cent/dollar amount would you have started thinking about this post?

OP, here's some well meant advice: quit bitching about $10 for parts that YOU lost.

40.79 so just about the same price

I think the adjustable pjs one is about 9 bux cheaper than the adjustable pro series by jet works. jet works has a standard valve, and the adjustable one.

I think both companies have a standard and adjustable version(s).

Ah didn't notice the PJS was adjustable so then yes 40.79 vs 49.99. hmmmm wonder what PSJ would charge for that spring and ball. I would say 8 bucks oh noes thats too much

the parts may not be interchangeable. the jet works cylinder looks to be a smaller diameter.

so whats the big deal with the replacement parts? this guy thinks they're wanting to charge him too much for the ball and spring? the thing probably costs out the 4ss to make, or have made. precision aluminum parts like the two halves definitely aren't cheap. they are specialty parts. the prices he posted in the email seem reasonable to me.

if you read the very last part of his email to Art it could be interpreted as he wanted them for free
