John went into surgery this evening and should be out or getting out shortly.

He sat there for 24 hours without so much as an aspirin....(by choice)....I can't even fathom that!!!!!
I wish I had an ounce of what makes this guy tick.

He's allright. He never lost consiousness. It looks like a broken nose and a good cut under his eye.

They are supposed to lifeflight him out of here any second.

I seemed to have missed the helicopter. Did it land on the beach?

No helicopter, the EMT's duct taped him to a body board and loaded him into an ambulance.

thats because he was conscious.....if he wasn't that would have been a heli ride.....Havell is like machine it breaks... you fix it... it goes back to work....unstoppable.....

I talk to john last night after surgery and he said he is doing good. This guy is a tank!!!!!!!! One of the nicest guys i have ever met. And he is already talking about trying it again when he gets better. He wanted to thank everyone for there support.
