Freestyle Kaylee's Phantom Build

So, I just found this thread. I'm so excited to see this on the water soon! Think you'll have it ready by DobieFest next weekend?

Haha! That was my original plan, but I don't have my motor yet. I hope he'll be bringing it to dobiefest though!

So I'll just be a ski-bum and ride other people's skis!! Unless it's cold...my butt is staying out of the water if it's cold! :)

That's a great idea!!

Not telling you to knock off anyone's idea but just to help give you an idea. Thrust trim has a piece of metal attached to the trim ring that slides back and forth

No major progress to show, but I did make some delrin bushings today during lunch to adapt my Jettlab steering system to my X Metal pole. I'm using an M14x1.5 40mm titanium bolt that's actually some triumph swingarm bolt I found on ebay. Also bought an unthreaded 2024 aluminum 1/2" clamping collar from mcmaster and tapped it M14x1.5 to lock it all in place. #1stepcloser #phantomgang #lovetitanium

Nicely done. Is there a reason you didn't want to to open the center hole on the xmw piece to allow OEM bushings and a larger bolt?

Yeah @ducky I can get you one without OEM bushing and center bolt those pieces eat up a decent amount of the cost which I would obviously pass along

I didn't have an oem bushing so i figured it was easier to make a bushing to fit rather than make/acquire an oem size bushing and modify the pole.
