Finally some more progress! After getting very frustrated with pump alignment and compressing the pump seal @jo5hi3 finally got the pump installed for me! Also mounted the pole, bilge, bow eye and some other little things. I need to make a steering cable extender for the blowsion hd cable, for whatever reason it's too short...getting closer! #carolinabeachorbust!

Looks good. Yeah pretty much every trim kit you would need a steering cable extension. That's normal. The blowsion cable is normal sj length.

There's a longer adjustable oem heim joint to extend the steering cable. A buddy believes it's on the GP760 and it's longer than yours pictured. You might also Google search heim joints and see what's available? How short are you with your regular length heim joint ?

How does one extend a steering cable? Don't ou have to just buy a longer one? I never knew you could add an extension on one.

kaylee insteed of extending your cable end could you just extend the threaded tub fitting on the hull like with pvc male to female your cable i bet is plenty long enough

Most all trim kits come with the extension when you buy the kit new. I'm sure you can find them from any big vendor on here.

There is no longer cable unless you had one custom made.

Yep. Just like what @Twake posted, but instead of the M6x1.0 extender I'm staring at, it needs to be 1/4-28 and about 1-1/2" long. I'll turn one tomorrow on my lunch break!

I didn't think it did, but that's what the tape measure says I need! The steering pivot bolts are only slightly behind the trim pivot bolts. Who knows...

I had to make an extender with no trim for my 155 pump install. I think mcmaster sells them but I didnt want to wait so I made mine and trimmed it to the required length
