so did you have enough place in pump tunel for this trim cable location ? the bolt didn't hit the top of tunel ? if not very interesting .
and 82 mm+8 = 802cc ;)
Should be plenty of room. I ran that trim setup on my SJ with a 144 pump last year, just have to adapt it to my new 155.

Yes! 802! Can't forget those last 2cc's!

It's a microsquirt. It's a universal efi controller, I'm only using it to control ignition though. It's triggered by a Mallory optical trigger made to go inside a V8 distributor. The trigger wheel is a 12-1. It still needs some tweaking to get more performance out of it, but i ran it on my SJ for the latter part of the summer into fall last season.
Did you just say MicroSquirt ... on a Jet ski????? Sick! I run MegaSquirt on my 68 Gto with a couple of turbos :) Never put too much thought into using it in this application. So what flywheel are you running to trigger it? I'm trying to picture...so the Mallory acts as the Hall Sensor and its still a wasted spark set up like stock...? Did you have a hard time fitting it behind the flywheel? How did you keep the microsquirt housing dry? Sorry too many questions.

That trigger wheel in the pictures bolts to the inside of an oem flywheel. The Mallory unit acts as a hall sensor with a 12-1 missing tooth wheel. It was a little tricky to get it all behind the flywheel, but it all fit along with the stock lighting coil for charging the battery. It's using 2 coils, but It can be setup wasted spark if you wanted. Right now, the microsquirt is just siliconed up to make it waterproof. If I stick with the system, it will find it's way into an ebox. I have some hardware latency issues to sort, and I want to try some stronger coils for more performance. It's still a work in progress, but it runs! If I stick with it, I'm going to add a bluetooth module for wireless tuning! :)

You can hear it moving around when your holding it in your hands, but I haven't used mine yet so I can't say for sure. I can't hear it from the shore....haha. @jo5hi3 is running one on his Phantom and can probably better answer this...
