It's gone.

It's the ******** up up n out ma' driveway.

I can't look out my door and see it.

I couldn't go out and work on it if I wanted to.

It's 30 minutes away.

For a week I won't have to worry about getting up early to work on it.

I won't have to plan out in my head what I am going to do to it over the weekend.

My garage doesn't even smell like epoxy anymore.

It's gone

Well, I got a little bit done while waiting for the ski. Managed to get the engine somewhat bolted together as far as reeds, intake, carbs, and exhaust manifold. I am going to have to switch the carb direction to where the jets are facing out to make the pull right for the throttle cable.

Behold the world's grainiest digital images:

Doesn't look too bright in the pics, but that is just the product of a ********ty camera and typical "It looks way better in person" goin' on there....

High build epoxy primer, PPG (Ultra? It was a Mopar color, I can't remember the name exactly)Grey (Non-metallic), and 4 coats of PPG polyurethane clear. :nutkick:

Don't lie! haha, it looks really crappy in those pics. It looks like it's primed with a shiny primer haha. Tis all good, it looks about like how I would imagine a battleship to look. It definately has that Military/Navy grey whatever type look going on (which I was going for)

I am going to laminate the floor tonight with epoxy with black pigment in it, and hopefully tomorrow I can start getting this thing together:Banane57:

Cheap. I know the guy who owns the body shop... :D

It is going to look kick ass with black diamond turf and black vinyl on the reg numbers, and a couple stickers that I am going to run on it.

it's really sick in person, in those pics it just looks really washed out. When I first uploaded the pics onto my computer I was like faaaaaaaaaaaack eww

Primmer never looked so good; you need to put some aircraft insignia and some kill markings on that ski. :usa2:

It's going to be something along those lines. Long Jetworks sticker along the undersides of the rub rail, "X766" will be on the back right and left corners, and I haven't decided on the rest yet... there wil be enough there to subtly break up the bland grey color.

Well, I got a little bored while waiting on my motor mounts and hood seal, so I set a couple things in place.....

Exhaust tube isn't going to be an issue, woot. And as you can see, I mixed up some pigmented epoxy and coated the floor, I thought I was using slow, but I was using fast, and before I knew it, it had gelled before the tiny air bubbles could come out of it. I was wondering why it kicked so fast lastnight, and I got my answer today as I was looking through my epoxy crap and saw which can of hardener the pump was on.... damn it.

And if anybody has the rubber piece that goes under a RN waterbox, give me a shout. I think I would rather use that than make a hydroturf cushion for it.
