What were you riding? Quite a number of skis yesterday.6 stand up,post boone lake drawdown! Could not believe it
I was on the Manitou VP just before Jay's dock. You were chasing closely behind a blonde on a square nose so we couldn't get your attention.

Back belt! That’s crazy! Does that actually help? My body is taking a beating from this jet ski stuff lately, especially my back. I could barely stand up this morning (but I still rode this afternoon haha)

I know I’m feeling sore.Rode Saturday, yesterday, and will ride this afternoon.Probably a lot to do with not having rode much this year and then going to 2-3 days in a row.Been wearing a Valeo back belt for a long time.Seems like it keeps your spine aligned up and in place.Im sure there is still compression from a big landing, but l have gone without a couple times without the belt and my back feels worse.

Been a few weeks since l got the Krash in the water.Mostly adjustments to the foot hold, pole and trim angle.
l moved the foothold on the left up 2”.Still wasn’t happy with my stance the way my foot slid into it,so l cut a portion off the back and returfed it.Fixed for now.

The nose was a bit down to much,so l adjusted the trim angle to about 7° up.That worked. B
So the changes with the trim angle seemed to work.Nose is up and the hull feels stable at speed. The foothold feels great.I can kick my foot in it and feel locked in.Just waiting on the reduction nozzle to get here....

Nice job, love the orange color. Did you put any orange accents on the inside?
I like the color myself.Had too many darks skis and carbon hulls,so it was time for a change. No,l didn’t do anything to the inside.l left it plain how l got it.Personally l don’t like paint on the inside of a hull. There’s always that chance of the paint coming off and then you have a mess on your hands. The old glass SF l redid last winter was messed up looking on the inside,so l sanded it completely down, coated it with epoxy and added black dye in the mix.lt won’t come off

Adding pigment to the epoxy is the way to go! Paint is easy but almost guaranteed to eventually start flaking...

Yeah that’s a good idea. That’s what I should have five on mine. I learned the hard way when the tank pressurized in the garage and all the fuel came out into the hull and ate up the bilgecoat paint.
