If I had 12k one would be on the way to my house! I'd risk it for sure.

When I bought/built my surf Envy it was one of the only AM choices.

I saw it and ordered it! Never rode it never even looked at it really close.

I have zero regrets it has been amazing!

So now all these years later and all of this massive amounts of surf riding knowledge/know how going in to today's hulls!!

Like I said if I had or soon have 12k I am getting one and taking my chances!

I still think you're going to have a way better time on a 3-5k RN SJ with 2k in modifications than rolling the dice on something you won't be able to fix with readily available parts.

We will have parts availble. On the east and west coast then eventually in dealerships... Not sure why this is still being debated but, just continue the speculation....

@Quinc we will be rolling out videos soon.

Maybe you might have more fun on an an old school ride. (been there done that) as for myself i will stick with new technology, I cant wait to try one. I bet Yami based motors prices are going to drop soon. Move over or get out of the way!!!

I hear yea on new hull and engine technology but you can't compare a trusted company who's been building engines since 1955 to something that has has yet to hit the market with no proof of reliability. I haven't replaced a single part on my 10 year old 701 in 4 years.

I'll be the first guy to buy one if they are what they say they are but the hull horror stories have totally turned me away from krash. i wouldnt be buying the first batch judging from the kind of hulls they were passing as acceptable when they should of never been shipped to customers

I am not in the market for one of these skis at this time but I would bet Krash is going to take our sport to the next level with this deal. Finally a New motor that is not 20 years old and has Big transfer ports I bet it grunts hard for a great price. Not sure of the issues with Krash hulls but I can say buying an aftermarket hull and building it from ground up is not an easy task , I just dont have any sympathy for whining unless you have built a Freak or ??. Stick with a Superjet they do last forever but there are many many other options out there

After reading mostly all the posts on this thread, as derailed as it got at some points lol, I have more hope for the product. When someone listed it out that the motor is only about 1k if you compare from the stage2 kit that is a decent roll of the dice for someone that has the money and or the extra motor on hand. If everything like carbs and pipe can all be swapped between the two (still haven't seen this info yet). I still think it is a big amount and probably too much for beginners to afford which was my main thumbs down about the complete ski but I haven't seen Krash really say that, just people who are trying to kick start the ski for Krash. It still isn't beginner cost affect (Superjet still is best for that) I will stick with that, but still could be a good deal to some. And if it hits real dealers, not forum dealers, then that is pretty cool too and options of financing in the future is definitely a positive. I wish I could have financed my ski, would be a lot of money to invest during the year to pay off fees and some extra in the pockets or a second truck haha.

The CDI will be interesting to see, although still some doubts about how efficient this will be in all power levels it will be something new to jet skis. Probably all boats are tuned for the CDI to run at the 160hp marker or where ever and will be sluggish down at the lower settings, making people stick with the top settings. But that is still innovation at the least, something new. Plus I doubt many people will run the boat at a low setting. I'm guessing the top 80% of CDI output is where most riders will ride anyways, we all want more power. If this CDI truly works in all power levels Krash better have a patent on it, if Jetworks can control Water Flow Valves then come on.

So after the two weeks or however long of watching this thread from page #1 when I was more negative I have moved my thumbs down to a sideways thumb lol. Would like to play with one and the CDI at Pismo or somewhere when they have Demos, would be interesting to see how it turns out and performs at the very least.

Wellll I just got through that 8 pages of drama and misinformation lol. Im stoked as shiiiit for my kv997 even if i have to re-helicoil the whole motor. I bought one of the first 50cal hulls and havent had any major headaches with it.. a stripped insert (I must be getting too strong) and worn out bushing have been my only complaints.. Only a small percent of people post on how awesome and stress free there hulls are to build/own. The internet is full of negative reviews and this definitely can skew things. Anyway... Is there anymore legitimate info out there for these engines/rtp skis? I vote for what Quinc said, lets see Krashes own build thread or a blog for their Krash rtp skis. Maybe a video tour of the shop.

I had a Stunt.... it actually ran......i ended up selling PWC related items and havent been on a ski since 2012... starting to get the itch. That guy ruined the sport for me , needed a break.
