Krashindustries.com is selling 997cc RTR Skis for $12,000.00

I'm debating on buying one just for the engine,12k is tempting guess I should grab one now before trump drops the hammer!

Just find someone who purchased a "starter kit" hull recently , if they want they get dibs on buying just the motor package for $3500 to make it fair since people can buy the complete ski for 12k for this limited time . That's the only way to my knowledge you can get a motor otherwise . Until maybe a year later .

OK. So its June. This is when I am scheduled to take delivery of the 50cal RTP. Got an email from Nick saying I am still on track for a June delivery. So I am now officially in "Are we there yet, Are we there yet, Are we there yet..." mode. LOL

Built a few ski's and 12k is tough to hit, especially all new! As a previous poster said though, this motor is "untested" in the community and parts availability might be an issue as well as newly developed...wrenching on this thing is definitely inevitable, especially if you surf ride....great deal if built solid.....more to come for some of us.....Ill wait and see the first "wave" of purchasers reviews until I pull the trigger on one.......

the gamble is relevant to the 12k . You can wait for the first wave and not gamble but if everything turns out good , I believe the price Is going up so we'll see

One way to look at it is the one's who have already put the 12k towards the ski will become extremely defensive towards this ski (as they should). The ones who haven't spent the money are open to throw their honest opinion, but everyone has their own perspective. For example, I'm 18 years old and 12k is a large load of money to spend period from my perspective. However, I do see this having the potential to expand the standup market. I believe we should all be for a cheaper price tag on a somewhat decent setup (so we hope). If all works out, which we should all hope it does, then I think it will only help us by reaching out to ones that have always wanted to join the sport but haven't been financially capable. IF it woks out, then I highly believe it will pull a lot of people into making the purchase they've pushed off for quite some time. All we can do is hope at this point

Who is Showtime and how do I follow them? Waiting patiently too, I have to wait til July before mine comes. A 50 cal and 2 Predators on the way in our riding group.

How long does it take for the orders to go through or for a confirmation usually on those ski's I put the deposit down and haven't heard much back about it. It's only been a week but still lol

*** UPDATE ***
Just spoke with Chris on the phone and the Krash team has finalizing a big first shipment that is leaving by early next week!!!! This is loaded with the first round RTP purchases, hulls, motors and sundries. The great news is the skis are built and packed we are waiting for the ship to finish loading and clear the port red tape. There was a few week delay so that there are spare engines and parts in the same shipment so they can better service us over here. (No waiting on parts from Thailand) This means the first round skis will hit the US in about 30 days!!
