Surfriding Krashing into a 50 Cal... Stage 2!

Did you get your steering cable in? That's an extremely tight radius you have. Not sure the end of the steering cable will make it through...
Yeah i had to re-route everything

Interesting bend in that silicone exhaust tube. Did it come from Krash? I suspect the upward bend helps both clear the battery and helps reduce water back flow into the water box.

Thats the one from Krash, nice quality silicone and it ends up way above the waterline so it should keep water out nicely. It rubs a little on my Blowsion battery box though.

Just an FYI these things are loud. I'm running an 828 from team scream with a b-pipe in mine and all krash stuff like you. It's loud as f. Rode my buddy's trinity matrix today with a TPE 964 and a TNT exhaust and it was so quiet compared to mine haha

^^^ Do you have any pics? Surf or flat water?

Cam do you have any pics of the Krash drive shaft couplers and damper ? Did you ever find out how much adjustment the pole had?

They look like that. Do yourself a favor and ditch them immidiatly. Cast, cheap, really hard to judge alignment as they taper down. I swear mine aren't round I'm just waiting till my new motor is done and they will go directly in the garbage. I wouldn't even give them to a stranger at a freeride that was in a pinch LOL

Thanks! Guess I will just stick with my stock Yamaha couplers for now. Anything else we might want to keep an eye on? Seems like the other hardware is ok?

The helicoils on the pump shoe are pretty fragile, I had one strip out while i was UN-screwing it and another pulled the helicoil out with it. Chris replaced the pump shoe and bolts right away though.

Its kinda hard to say, maybe 2 inches anything more than that youll either be crushing the breather tubes or you wont have all 3 pinch bolts on the tubes

They powdercoated my couplers and now the rubber damper wont even fit in it lol

I had to jam the rubber damper in mine, took a lot of pushing but eventually they went together. My midshaft alignment was terrible too. Probably the worst I've ever seen.

Damn so far i only need one shim on the pump reduction nozzle usung cold fusion tool but motors a different story four shims on the front and im kinda happy with the couple gap using sj mounts.

Chris just told me to cut that hood pin shorter and your tabk will fit. Arr those couch mounts? My alignment was way off with couch mounts, gonna swap in sj mounts to be sure before i start trimming the couchers
Yup those are the same couch mounts I ran on my SJ. Didn't need any shims in that but we'll see about the Krash.

My bed plates were all spot on. I think theyre still working out the kinks in production. Chris has been very helpful with me so far.

Holy Quality Control Batman! I can live with some issues as long as the company is very responsive. So far I have had no issues dealing with Chris. Only problem I have ( all AM hulls ) is the sketchy wiring/PayPal of large amounts of cash.
