ksarge's superjet build

your hood looks good. atleast the outside anyway lol. nice tassels!

haha, now now. The liner will get painted black sometime so it won't be quite as ugly. I can't make it too pretty though or I'd have to remove the badges!

Is your hood still for sale? I might shoot you an offer in a few weeks if you still have it. Gotta see what the deal is with the cash flow situation.

This hood may be for sale. Total weight of the hood is 15.1 lbs with all hardware, pole pad, liner glassed in, baffles, fresh white paint job.

What did I do now??? lol Loooks great Kevin! Team ugly FTW! I am not going to recognize anyone's ski's this year with all of the changes/new ski's.

Woohoooo! Haven't been on here in a while but I plan on freshening the ski up before the coming season. Not doing any actual work until beginning of march since I'm 4 hours away from it at school right now but here's what I have planned.

-Clean it. The inside is nearly black from some exhaust leaks
-Figure out what's actually wrong with it. Had some power cut-off issues last season where it would fall down to half power once the motor warmed up. I have some ideas. Might need a new stator
-Re-built bendix
-Re-build the 38's
-Rip out the tray and make a new one that doesn't leak
-Re-epoxy in my drain plugs
-Rip off front sponsons (regular blowsion ones, like the way they ride without them better)
-Cracked the hood to hell and back so I have to fix that (well, just lay some strips of carbon over the cracks)
-Fix up the wiring
-Once the bug's worked out I'll hone it and throw some new rings in

I have a few other ideas but nothing for certain yet.

No big motor plans or anything unless something comes up, we'll see. I'm not home for long during the summers anymore really so I just want something solid and basic that I can have fun on for the few months I'm home to stay in the sport until I can build a Freak once I graduate :p
