before I know it summer will be here and I still wont have a ski to ride
If the weather will stay about freezing around here I may spend some time and work on it a bit. I have all supplies and ski already torn down.
Still need to figure out a water box for it, going to have to make a custom one from the 1st gen X-Metal I got, Or I am thinking of running a PFP waterbox, has anyone ever done this with a B-Pipe?

well as much fun as it was for me to help you assemble a ski at Torch Lake, Im sure my wife will not allow me to this year. Maybe fix some stuff but building/laying carbon is right out. lol

it's coming along. I got the nose area all reinforced, starting carbon reinforcing engine compartment area. I have the bottom of the hull all sanded and trued and ready for Gel Coat. Gonna remake some new foot holds do some turfing and button everything up and it should be done. I'll grab some pics tonight or tomorrow to show some progress.

hmm you will have to explain more, I thought they felt pretty good and about the right spot.

Here a couple pics of the Bob pods, not a fan of how they are angled down and where they are mounted, its too much leverage on the hull and I don't think it would last with heavy use. plus tray is a little too wide I think.

Update: Gel Coated the bottom of the ski last night, needs wet sanding and polishing but hopefully it will provide the ultimate tough as nails coat on the bottom.

nope, XP needs a new key programmed for it ...i hope, big purple had about a half gallon of oil sitting in the hull when i took the cover off. Well the oldest and biggest is probably good to go, stupid tank of a ski but its reliable lol.

BTW, got the water box last night ... man that this is tiny!!!! could be a little less high but very very small!!
little bummed though cause new exhaust hose does not fit the water box or the skis exhaust tube? whats up with that!? need to find reducers for and couplers for that now
