I was completely unaware of the liability insurance.
Did Juana's require it?
Justin, post up your PayPal please.
When I bought my 5 or 6 shirts, I thought that's pretty much where your expenses ended.
we will still ride it just wont be an event.
There is a lot of truth to that simple statement Justin. Why does every ride have to be an "event" ? What happened to the days of just riding for the sake of riding & getting together? I think people are trying to make it a lot more complex than it has to be. Before Daytona was an event peeps still showed up & rode. It just got around by word of mouth or however that hey, group "a" from state "b" would be riding on weekend "c". No bs, no getting permits, no taking donations for whatever, no tshirts, no meals.we will still ride it just wont be an event.

I love Daytona & Nick does a great job - but no one should feel the need to compete with that or even try to copy it.

agreed!
and why are the same people that are complaining that no one come to these planned "events" are also saying that it doesn't matter because they like the small rides anyways....doesn't make much sense to me.
true story...and you do not need an event for rummy worms or the AMOD!
Terry, believe it or not, we use to have about 3 rides at Lanier each year, no planning other that a post "Hey, who wants to meet next week". We would have people from Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina. Oh, at least 30 people each ride.
It takes no planning, no effort, no BS. Just show up.
Because even at a small ride you generally want at least 20 or so participants ,at an event you need a lot more people than that ,its not really that hard to figure out Emm.:cool2:
Whereas my minimum desired participant level would be at least ten.
