Freestyle ((lenzi1one pro kit build)) hbc/dasa

Got it home, first obsevations. Build very well, hull is solid definitely vacume bagged and infused. Hull kit with pole and bracket, motor mounts, hood, is under 78lbs.
Paint job is 8 out of 10
Turf job is ok
The handle pole is ok, does not compare to my BUN as far as milling goes...
Over all hull is built very well, hood opening is unreal lots of room! Very nice motor mounts looks to be larger than oem, more like out of a sitdown ski with big motor application. Came with custom kawi driveshaft 23 1/4 long its nice, but ill be using
one of my HBC Titanium versions for weight savings. Hull is about 73 inches long
(lower deck) nose to back. Topdeck is all custom dont see any lines that look usual.
Lower deck is sxr based no secret there, from nose to mid of hull is custom. Will get lots
of pop from this hull. More pics to come, pump install next!

No tubes in the Hood . Guess your fresh air enters only thru the pole ? That should be dryer, but will it be enough for a large displacement motor ?

interesting... thought Lenzi was running the Polaris/Powerfactor stuff now?

Dasa 16MM making as much power (or near) or just priced a whole hell of a lot better?

awesome build - thanks for sharing.

ideas for my build :)

Lenzi still uses dasa! These are up to date pics from his facebook. As far as Polaris vs 16mm from a public stand point the dasa 16mm is the way
to go price wise. Power wise i can not compliment...dont know.

I can say...who cares lol, 90% of us cant use the power effectivly to tell the differance. If your one of the 10% that just needs the biggest i say
go for it, you live once and what ever makes you happy. My favorite motor to date is the dasa 8mm 85mm bore for fun all around riding using MSD
TL and mag pump...same one in this build. I have transfered this pump from all my dasa motors, keep in mind its a Kawi setup.

*Setup for this build will be DASA 12mm 89 bore full billet, Dasa is building motor ground up using there new billet intake with v2 reeds.
230psi head (race fuel)

Novi 48's with D boosters..going to try these against my full spec 48's

MSD TL ign

Controls bolted on. Going to put either yami or sxr on/off with lanyard on, between the two wich is the smallest...i forget? Well looking for one if anyone has somthing let me know.

What would be rad though is to mount a kawi one to the underside of your chin pad... have wanted to see this for ages. would leave your controls looking super clean, you just wouldnt be able to start the ski with both hands on the bars.

Jace Forest...BRAP!
I use to run my switches unde the chin pad like that. Used a kawi switch and took It apart and ziptied each one under the chin pad. I ended up not liking it

With a machine like this or close to you need the controls at hand. When you run big motor setups and a short hull getting back on ur boat is a task as u need
to hold on with both hands...one to pep the throttle the other for start and holding on tight! Other wise u will look like a newbi out there!
Also safe just to be able to get to a off swich at thumbs reach. That is my oppinion and the way i like it. Well Yami lanyard it is thanks for the info.
