Lightweight batteries

etx9 and lith batts are for skis that start with 3 sec of cranking, your fine. If you have a ign thats funny about starting or no primer, good luck. IF your ski sinks, just pull it and put a bigger batt in to get it started. Ive had good luck with the wps lith, advance warrants them for a yr,no questions asked, its worth the price even if it only gets you by with a batt for the yr.IF you ride a heavy hull or b1,just run a brick batt, youll not know the diff anyway

So to sum up. On the WPS batteries since they do not like to be constantly charged should I not get this battery since I will be running a charging system in my ski or only does this mean I should watch the battery when on the trickle charger. also does the battery not need a special charger and i will be okay running our old battery charger for normal car batteries thats like 15 years old hah. Looks like a great battery and lighter than the normal walmart motorcycle batteries that i use

I love my WPS. Going on 2 seasons with no problems other than the 'charge indicator lights' don't work as well as they used to. It's in a charging system, and topping it off or before winter storage I use a Lith charger.

I heard good things about Deltran's Lith battery, and for $149 w/free shipping for a 360 CCA battery it's hard to beat. Thinking I'm going to try it out.

Special charger or normal car 12v home charging system?

I use this little wps battery and haven't had a single issue. At the time the ski had 220 PSI compression. I use a standard battery tender, but the moment the light turns green I remove the charger. I have yet to have the tester on the top of the battery show anything but fully charged. I run a bilge constantly when I ride, and have a enhancer, and a stock lightened 61x flywheel.

I used a YTX 7LBS in my ski all of last season. It never went dead on me. I am NOT using a total loss or an enchancer though. The 7 is A LOT lighter and smaller than a 16lb-s which is recommended for jet skis.

My 180cca is barely enough to crank my 190psi 701. That being said, my wps sat 3months since daytona, is over two seasons old and cranks slow. But it seemed to gain power every starting attempt, 6th try and she was cranking like a beast and fired right up. I will always run wps batteries from now on. Get a great deal at 4 seasons powersports.

Ive been running the EXT9 and it works well. Need to keep it on a tender as too much cranking (usually not an issue) will drain it quickly

I just ordered one battery tender lithium 360c and one wps 14AHL. I have tried everything out there honestly. Im into batteries for more then most peoples total ski price. This is the last attempt before I go back to a lead battery. I have tried anti gravity, ballistic, earth-x and some of them will work for a few months then just pop. Ill keep ya posted on how these test once the lakes are thawed.

If you wanted the Tender for the lithium batteries it must come from the US, none of the Canadian suppliers brought in the charger, faaack!

Why the F is the battery called "battery tender"? That's misleading for me. Because I....think I need to get a lithium battery tender for my battery.
