You very well could be cranking a high compression 800 for 5 minutes though. Keep us posted. Put it to the test. Is that battery really $800? Transferable lifetime warranty?? Jeesh!

The battery was $290 with a life expectancy of 5 to 10 years. IM tired of replacing the SLA batteries evey other year. I have only been riding for 3 years and have spent probably $800 in batteries between 4 skis. The down time in is what kills the SLA batteries.

WTF I must have bad luck then. I even take them out every winter and store them at work in a heated garage. They have gone up in price too. I remember they used to be like $30 to replace the one in my tractor, but now its hard to find one for under $70. It seems like as soon as you put the acid in them it starts a 500 day count down until they die. IM sure I will be at $800 this spring in SLA batteries. IM sure my bike will need one this year too. :damnit:

lol yeah sounds like bad luck cuz i don't take mine out or anything, all winter. i just throw a charge on them every month or two and leave them be.

sealed maintance free interstate. but that battery you got seems way better and hopefully worth the cost. You will have to keep us posted if you ever have any problems

Got the hood today! :woot:
The bottom is all painted, cleared, and buffed.

I installed and aligned the pump and drive shaft. I went to start aligning the engine and found that the wamiltons hull is set up for a set back engine FYI. So now im waiting for an sxi shaft to come in the mail to set me back again. Im also having a problem with the steering cable at the through hull fitting back by the pump. Both the hull and the stock steering cable have female fittings on them, so they don't thread together!
