kit price is now $3100 its gone up from the website price

personally id have team scream assemble it they do some extra things, they charge around $700 for the machining and assembly

they told me you have to use oem crank and cases, and they use oem crank seals

if your running your b-pipe you will need the manifold and head pipe machined to match

i went for the complete short block supplied from team scream, with brand new cases and crank, with team scream limited b-pipe and the boyseen reeds/intake set up with the modified carbs, so i know its all set up and jetted correctly...

personally our riding season in canada it too short i want a motor i dont need to wrench on and with this complete set up i believe i have that

I really want to use my current lightened stock flywheel/JSS electrics/enhancer.

I really don't like epoxy anywhere in a motor.

I will say this, and probably catch some flack about it. There are only a few people here that can actually handle the power the 1000 puts out. I was at the 2008 nationals when Ratti showed up with one. I do not know how much time he had on it but you could tell he was a bit timid with the power out put at that point. This is not a motor where you can just blip around. Personally, it would be a huge waste. The 827-865 setup would still probably have more power than you could ever utilize but would be much more manageable.

That said, get what you want and enjoy.

Its not aluminum. Eventually it will break down and need redone and that is unacceptable.

I'm sure that Billet cases will be available at a reasonable price by then, and really, once you have that kind of money in an engine, why not run billet cases too. :bigok:

well the main reason was the motor was already complete, but for team scream to assemble with your cases and crank they want to inspect them first, so theres always a risk that you can ship you parts to them and they dont think they are in good enough shape....

havent decided what im doing with my old motor yet, and my motor came out of my 04 superjet... its mint
