So no stock stroke TS motors use non epoxied cases?

I think you can run the stock stroke with no epoxy work. if you send it them to port the case then it's a different story.

if you buy the kit you are supposed to use the base gasket as a template to open up the bowls. Id doesn't say you HAVE to port the intake track which is what needs the epoxy work done.

If you have the 760 raider cases with dual pulse lines I wonder if you even have to clearance for larger sleeves? That would eliminate the need for epoxy behind the Stator as well.

No, the 760 cylinder has a stepped sleeve, that is why you could bolt them to std 62T Cases and why there is barely any room for overboring.

Because billet cases are probably gonna be like 1200, right?

only company that makes them is DASA and they are not compatible....

oem cases brand new are around $800.. so $400 more for billet would be a bargain

damn! that much?? I scored a brand new set from FL kracker for 300 bucks :Banane09::Banane09:

well the main reason was the motor was already complete, but for team scream to assemble with your cases and crank they want to inspect them first, so theres always a risk that you can ship you parts to them and they dont think they are in good enough shape....

havent decided what im doing with my old motor yet, and my motor came out of my 04 superjet... its mint

when I got my ski back there was a garbage bag full of parts that were the "reject parts"

Hmmmm.....I would really like to avoid epoxy even if it kills a tad tad bit of power.

man, if yoiu are really going to sack up the $$ on a motor like this...let the builder do their work and dont question it

even changing ONE thing in a setup like this will alter other things down the line....hip bones connected to the leg bone, know what Im sayin'???

woudl you order a brand new ZR1 vette and tell them, "you know...dont change the exhaust outlet, I Iike the design from the stock C5 better...I dont mind if it kills a bit of power"

big power just takes getting used to..

I have seen it deteriorate in motors. It is not permanent. It will eventually need taken out and redone. I hate it.

is this like the "i hate dry pipes" but "i love the power factor pipe" thing??

sometimes we can get hung up on an "issue" that isnt really an issue 99% of the time

ive not heard of this being an issue?

like idok says.. if your dropping the $$ then you need to trust in the builder otherwise you are looking at the wrong builder

I guess when I am ready I will just call them...Demon mentioned he thinks it can be done without epoxy. I agree.

I'll just call them and really really try to get it done without epoxy.

I don't care what others have done because maybe they haven't seen epoxy fail over time.

A poll for failed epoxy might be more accurate but not to many free riders have had it and if so maybe not long enough for it to deteriorate.

Old school racers maybe but not enough of them around here to chime in probably.

How come the DASA cases are not compatible? Do they only work with DASA cylinders? Is a DASA motor a chit load more expensive than a TS?

Transfer port mapping is different...DASA on the left, TS on the right.
