No....still dreamin and thinking of how I could get it done.

Just start selling things you don't use anymore. That's what I did and I ended up with enough to build the Matrix with TS power and I never touched our personal accounts for a penny. Our yard and garage is looking much cleaner now too. :bigok:

Does that intake come O-Ringed or is that something that TS does?

The Intake comes like that from the factory but that picture doesn't show the carb adapter plate that sits on top yet.

You just gotta find a way to get money.
I parted a bunch of stuff out, worked for a ski rental business, sold all extras I had.

My Matirx Build has been delayed for another month so I picked up a ski from craigslist just to part out and pass the time plus it helps build my jetski account back up a bit.

So actually, my garage currently looks like this...

Talked to X metal a little.

I didn't realize the 827/846/865 was designed as a bolt on kit even with a stock pipe and or TS modded 38's! similar to Group K's 845 but billet and powervalved.

So 3100 for the complete top end with powervalves , 175 for modded stock 38 work (they could use a rebuild anyway), smurf said he would machine the cases to their base gasket as TS described saving me 170. Could port match the B mani and head pipe later according to TS. And then the new crank which I could use anyway (mine is old)....$uck$ man....450-800 for one kills the build almo$t.

1425 for carbs and intake are definitely build killers.

Very scalable build option man!

I am thinking the TS worked 38's would be fine for a long time if not forever.

Just thinking out loud...

And Kell and I are tossing round moving to the Daytona area anyway!!:Banane09: (just goof talk but ya never know)

When did they say you could use 38's? I sold off a sweet set of freshly reworked Taper bored 38's to buy the 46's.

yeah, I talked to them about that too. you can buy the SS top end, use the base gasket as a template to clearance the case for the cylinders and bolt it on your limited set up. It's tempting to buy the kit and then build the motor more as money allows.

175 to 220 tops for Chuckie to mod/jet and/or rebuild your 38's and he says it will run...but not preferred so if you can afford to go all the way you clearly should. But I am soooooo curious to see my nice lil modded 38's would run a 846!

And then add in a nice crankworks rebuild on your OEM crank for 435.

It is looking more and more doable.

Gotcha, I am quite impressed with the Jetworks Taperbored 38's on my ported 760 and originally asked about running them on the SS846 and was shot down. I'm glad I went with the 46's for the long run but it's good to see that other options are available.

I was flat out told the 38's will work, they'll be a limiting factor on the complete build but you can run the 38's and use the cylinder basically as a bolt on mod.

OR!!!!!:Banane09:

"Yes, if you have a stator ( most people send one with broken vanes, since they’re no good to them, but good as a core for a Magnum), then we can set you up with a 144mm C+75 magnum pump with a new impeller that matches the pump, and tail cone for $1,050.00. It would take about 5 weeks to modify."

Thanks

x2! And I was told that no one has yet...not even Chuckie! But he knows it will work and I'm thinking it would hit like a mofo fo sho!

One of the best bolt-on mods I have ever done.
