Still waiting on pole but I got these orange anodized tubes. They might be too dark but we will see

If they're too dark now by the time they fade in the sun they will be just right

Nice, the awesome thing about these setups is that they are dead reliable..you can put hours upon hours on a lites ski and for the most part if setup right they just last. Should be a fun little.ripper

So is it stock class that you can't use a different thickness headgasket then?

Here's the lites rules:

1) Replacement gaskets may be used but must be of the same type (e.g., sheet, o-ring, etc.) as their OEM counterparts. With the exception of head gaskets and base gaskets, all replacement gaskets must maintain a thickness of plus or minus 20% of the OEM gasket thickness as furnished by the manufacturer.

2) Base gasket cannot be thicker than 0.8mm (0.032in).

3) Head gaskets must be no thinner than .005mm (0.002in) than the OEM thickness as supplied by the manufacturer. Head gaskets must be no thicker than 1.55mm (0.06in) than the OEM thickness as supplied by the manufacturer.

Iirc there is an addendum regarding gaskets that takes into account the ski cc output.

Something along the lines of if it is over a certain bore size you can use "x" gasket thickness for base and head and under a certain size you can use "y" thickness base and head gaskets. I'll see if I can find it tonight

Get both sets of Pro Watercraft sponsons. Transformed the 2015 SJ into something I could actually buoy ride enjoyably. Extremely stable and predicable. Perfect to go along with that ride plate.

Thinking if we heat it up and bend it back (less tension) it might line up ok. I can get it in now but as soon as you lift pole up it will pop out.

I've dealt with pole springs like that before... You need to pry between the handlepole and spring on the right side to get the spring straight enough to get the bolt through. Helps to have a second person helping. However, assuming it doesn't make your pole stand up straight like a flagpole it's worth it to have some extra tension so you aren't having to hold the pole up when racing. At the same time, the ones that you have to work to keep the pole down suck too, especially if you fall cause then you have to get a hold of the pole, pull it down and then board, versus just grabbing the handlebars and ripping it to get back in the race.
