Lone Star Free Ride 2011 Roll call and info:

This will be my first freeride and I am pumped. Looking forward to meeting everyone. I will be bringing my sj for sure and blaster if its running by then. I will also bring a 5 gallon jug of margs. Ummmmmm. Whos bringing what?

I'm bringing my SN (that Smoofer just broke - he wasn't satisfied with breaking just his HX on Saturday), a small grill, a cooler full of 'stuff', sunscreen and plenty of excuses at why I suck so bad at riding.

Went for a short ride session on Sat. Just a little bit south of Port A at JP Luby/ Packerey Channel area.

Not the best picture, at the end of riding session on the way in and a friend remembered there was a camera lol.....but you can see some of the waves in the background. Sets were rolling in at stomach to shoulder height; disorganized and on top of each other, closing out real quick. Water was a nice 75 deg and hardly any seaweed (it was piled up on the beach though). Hopefully it keeps the size but cleans up a bit.

The color is called "burnt copper". The pics make it look a bit more gold than it is. It's still ballin outta control though

Wahoo, just finished up the trim install on the 09, shortened the pole 3", and installed a stubby cone. Not bad for a morning Now onto Steveowes ski!
