I looked at a dealership online and they were asking 10,500 for a Superjet, which is unreasonable, even for Hawaii. So I'm interested in purchasing an aftermarket ski that has already been built and I wanted to know if my goals were reasonable. I have been cruising the "whole skis for sale" but need to learn a bit more on capabilities.
Things I'd want:
$20,000 price limit possibly.
backflip capable.
5 gallon tank.
Can float on water for extended amount of times, while I would rest on the sand bar. I don't know if this is normal/not normal or if i need a bilge pump too (and what effect it would have on the battery).
Ability to cruise to a sandbar about a half mile away to get to the location I would play at.
Does anybody have advice/guidance? I'd really like to be able to go to the Kanaohe sandbar on weekends and just ride where it's deep then take breaks. Here is a picture of the area I am interested in.
