The silt will hold in place more than u think, unless the current is rippin, you guys would know that better than i would. Im an MSDT scuba diver and if we could get 4-5 divers, we could spend a few tanks doing some calculated search patterns as 1 last effort. Just an idea.

since is supposedly had foam and sank anyway, maybe it was just about weightless on the bottom and under water currents moved it away from where you are looking. i've seen things floating just under the surface and if thats the case, it could be anywhere by now.

Ya really lol it had a 15 ft rope on it and only let go when it pulled me underwater
