I am going to have one of the Jetski decal companies make up some decals and will sell them. All the proceeds will go to his family. I am thinking a woodgrain oval with a chrome ring and it says "Bruins" in script chrome. Just like his "woody" ski.

This morning trying to write reports I keep coming back to the X and reading posts from Kevins riding bros and friends. Such a huge loss. Hearing who he was or how he went about things from his friends impresses me so much. Sounds like Heaven needed him more right now. Ride free Rip.

Kevin had the energy of 100 men he was fired up...and he was a spiritual guy.....so God has a good man use in the eternal battle...

Super sad for all of us left behind.....

Very sad. I've been following this the past few days now. Prayers goes out to the bruins family. Rip Kevin.

I think the decals are a great idea. Maybe shirts also. Incorporate wood grain in it. I know I will buy a few of each.
Dedicate next years wave rave to him and have a weiner roast or something.

Love it DJ! I was thinking we needed a woodgrain sticker of some sort too. You are right, he had Bruins in a cool font on his ski. that would be perfect. I would do a chrome outline around the oval too.
Sign me up for sure.

X-h2o,
I am very happy to see everyone coming together and willing to donate to the family. I know whatever we get together will mean a lot to the family. If we do t-shirts, stickers, or just donations I am happy with any of them. Since, I was the last one to see Kevin this is been a pretty hard event for me. However, my main concern has been Kevin and his Family. I can only imagine what they are going through right now. If I were in their shoes, I am sure it would feel great to get a donation of any kind from this community of riders. I know if it happened to me, I would be looking down from heaven with a smile on my face, knowing how great our community is and how we will do whatever it takes to support the family!

Please continue to keep his family and friends in your prayers as this is certainly one of the hardest if not the hardest events to go through.

TeamKarb and myself should be able to post the details from Saturday soon. It really doesn't matter much but my guess is everyone would like to hear the true story rather than the misreported news.

Thank you X-H2o for all your support, it means a lot to me as I am sure it does to his close friends on here and any family that reads this.

RIP Kevin

One thing I love about our Jetski community is how closenit we all are even if we dont directly know each other. I did not know Kevin extremely well but I did know him from Daytona and he came our Freeride last year, partied with him. He was definately one of those dudes that if you met him, he left an impression. He was a cool dude. I feel we are all brothers here on the X, and its great to see such a positive response to such a terrible outcome. I will think about Kevin everytime I go out. DJ I love your idea, I think its a great way to raise money and a great tribute we can put on our skis as a reminder to how precious our time here on earth really is. He definately died doing something he loved. Im sure he will truely be missed. To his family and friends, we are all thinking about you.

Keep us posted guys

615 Freeriders are addicted to T1 madness.
615 guys are going to do some part auctionsa as soon as we get a paypal addy from the group in MI.. We will auction some parts and the winner sends the PP straight to them for the Bruins family. Buck up and pay up on some parts you know you will need some day. Footholds, RRP chin pad, Toby chinpad, pole springs and whatever else we can muster up. It will be 100% to Mrs. Bruins.

This is the biggest tragity I have seen in our X-H2O group and now is the time where this brothahood plays the biggest roll.
about 10 years ago we lost a friend here in Nashville to a stand up accident and it was horrific for the family and alot of guys here have not gone back to riding since that day. Thats not the right approach IMO but We can do all we can to show our support to his family and to the members here that are closest to him.
