He got there as Gomez was flipping in the pool. Better late than never. I'll probably start a thread on mine soon and it'll definitely be ready for WaveDaze come April and Carolina Beach in May.

post 234 is the copper/black ski and it was there along with the green ski in pics behind it.

would have liked to be on the beach sat when it opened like I normally am but as it was I worked from friday morning straight thru to sat at about 1pm. got cleaned up and finally ate something and drove 3 hours to get to daytona. met with the few people I needed to deliver parts to and went straight home and to bed. awake for 41 hours and worked 30 of those nonstop. im still recuperating from that. and to top it off I didnt completely finish installing all the plumbing and a few inserts.

im pretty disappointed I missed it as well. its a once a year deal and there was nothing I could do to make it happen. as it was wed or thur I was prepping the liner mold. cant cut it any closer than that. sorry guys.

copper1.jpg copper2.jpg copper3.jpg copper4.jpg Pat rode the ski sometime last week and reported in real quick and then went back out and kept riding until dark. I finally got tray time sat. he didnt exaggerate in his description of how it performed. we knew the green plug ski rode and handled nice but didnt know how much -6 would alter the performance. I also was concerned that being 60lbs lighter might make the ski not track and get bounced all the H. E. double hockey sticks. as it turns out my fears were for nothing. since I feel like myself, pat or anyone I ride with might be biased in their opinion of the ski and I dont want to be a tease I will just say that the ski setup with the setback pump, and -6 was very stable at all speeds.

I am not a great rider. I am lucky to get 3-4 rides in a year and I had no trouble hopping on it and carving like a maniac. I am pretty sure I would like the footholds maybe forward a little more( they are already mid tray) and the pole to be shorter but even as it was I still was more comfortable than on my own ski that I have had for years. for those wanting a looser ride I think that some trimming on the rear and the rails will get you back to the oem feel. I am working on making some mold inserts to allow for stock or wide rails.

the next 2 weeks will be making boat #2 and #3 thru #5 are spoken for. when those are complete I will be looking for more. in the meantime enjoy Pats hull and I very much look forward to naticens hull to hit the water and hear his review. he has his hands full but I know he is motivated.
