right on Matt glad you got it! I thought you were getting a heavier lay up version though? This hull was still pretty fun and stable in the surf for a light weight hull though.
When I first started talking to Tem back in August, I was heavily leaning towards a glass hull - mostly for cost reasons. I even wanted just the hull halves and assemble them myself.
The more I talked to Tem, the more I realized that I really didn't want to screw this project up with my own hack labor. So it went to an assembled glass hull.
Then I found out that an upgrade to carbon was pretty inexpensive, so that was that.
I will be painting this at a friend's house with his equipment and expertise. He's currently painting his own Superjet, so it'll be another week or two before I can get in. I need to wait for the pole to get here first, anyways.
So this weekend I will probably try to install my motor and pump to see how things fit, trim bolts, etc. That way I can just move straight into assembly mode once it's painted and turfed.
Here is the paint scheme I am going with.
