That kid (Sam, our middle one - he's six) is ALWAYS that way. He wakes up bouncing, bounces all day, and finally goes to sleep bouncing.

I'm not going to Pismo for a variety of reasons.
I'll be happy just to get it finished by then, because there is an Oregon coast ride just a week after Pismo I would like to make.

I think you should park your car on the top of the hood for a few days. :icon16:Mark Ericson says thats the only way to tell if a hood is strong.:pancake:

Humm....well that guy knows what he's talking about. Be right back.....:lmao:

My first thoughts on this hull: It's short (mine is -4.3). It is damn low profile, and it is damn wide. So unlike a Superjet.
The pump tunnel sticks so far through the tray. The midshaft carrier mounts very low. It is very obvious how much lower/thinner/flatter this boat is.

right on Matt glad you got it! I thought you were getting a heavier lay up version though? This hull was still pretty fun and stable in the surf for a light weight hull though.

When I first started talking to Tem back in August, I was heavily leaning towards a glass hull - mostly for cost reasons. I even wanted just the hull halves and assemble them myself.
The more I talked to Tem, the more I realized that I really didn't want to screw this project up with my own hack labor. So it went to an assembled glass hull.
Then I found out that an upgrade to carbon was pretty inexpensive, so that was that.

I will be painting this at a friend's house with his equipment and expertise. He's currently painting his own Superjet, so it'll be another week or two before I can get in. I need to wait for the pole to get here first, anyways.
So this weekend I will probably try to install my motor and pump to see how things fit, trim bolts, etc. That way I can just move straight into assembly mode once it's painted and turfed.

Here is the paint scheme I am going with.

I will....but couldn't do it last night, not enough room in the garage with the van in it. I tried moving it out, but one of the kids had left the interior lights on and the battery was deader than a door knob.
