And the topend still isn't 100% broke in. The motor uses a lot less gas now than it did in the old Superjet. I guess dropping ~100lbs will do that.
I was riding for about 2.5-3 hours yesterday on maybe 3.5-4 gallons.
I rode Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and burned less than two full tanks.

Something else that is really really neat about this hull: It is very dry! I come up from pancakes and the like and the motor doesn't sputter one bit (like it used to in the old SJ hull). The bilge pumps are not working all that hard.

Riding a lightweight hull is a bit strange at times.
It was very windy when I was riding on Saturday. I was going upwind to mess around in the wind chop waves.
I jumped one of them and the hull turned vertical in the air. All of a sudden, there was a strong gust of wind and I could feel the entire ski slow down in mid air. :lmao: Blown around by the wind.

Looks great Matt, I bet if that pole were 4 in shorter you would have it, I just put a xtra small pole on my ski, and was the best thing that happed to my ski, BTw my pole weights 4.3lbs...lol

I hear what you're saying about the shorter pole, but I think I'd be giving up a lot of rec-riding ability with a much shorter pole.

yes you will, but in my case I only ride 100ft from the dock, and when I want to do some rec riding I take the other freak out lmao

Are you running your carbs that direction because of the intake manifold or does Art suggest they be run like this? I have mine the other way on a stock 760 mani..

Art set my mine up like this as well with the carbs. Hey Matt, mines bigger then yours......but atleast yours turns over...lmao
