That will be a run ride.
Has Art built that setup yet? It will be interesting to see how it compares to the 'other guys' big boy PV engines...
They're going to be mad when you make more power :woot:

He has built the 8mm setup before, but not the 10mm I think. I think this will be the first one setup all out for total loss and high compression. The other one's he's built were milder pump has and charging ignition setups.

Should be a violent motor especially with Art working his magic!! I got the same blowsion turn plate and phat clamp setup for my SJ but got used RRP riser bars from Optima racing. My SJ is just a hull that needs building but I'm real tall so I'm sure I'll like that setup! You will be soo pumped on your first ride with the new powerplant, I can't wait for the ride report!

Well, I guess I'm having another build coming this winter - sort of. Same hull setup, but the power plant will be a major upgrade.
I had a 763cc Jetworks big bore that I just sold and shipped out.
Art is building me a 10mm stroker ADA cylinder motor, 89mm bore - so 970cc.
I'll be using the same dual 46 BlackJacks I ran on the last motor, but I am upgrading to a Dominator manifold and M16 reed blocks.
Same ATP TL as before, same B-mod pipe, same 140mm mag but with a steeper impeller.

I am sure you have considered it, but you should reconsider a larger pump.

I am considering it. I will try to get the 140mm to work first. Then I have good baseline to compare to. I'm interested to see how a larger pump compares to a smaller pump.

Slight change on the intake side of things....I ditched my prior setup (Riva manifold, dual 46 BlackJacks, stock cages + Jetworks dual stage reeds) for an R&D Dominator manifold, M16 reed blocks, and dual 48 BlackJacks.

I'm going to set it up with the 140mm mag initially and then hopefully have enough money left over to do a back to back test with a 148 mag.
I also upgraded my ATP Flame's brain unit to the newest generation.
No more 10V issue and more spark energy for bragging rights.

Art got the cylinder from ADA and a brand-new set of cutting bits just for this job. :haha:
I think the crank is still out a couple of weeks.

My drivetrain upgrade is about to start. After lots of delays from Crankworks, my motor is finally built and shipped yesterday. With a little bit of luck, I’ll have it by Friday so that I can assemble this weekend and do some break-in riding. Water’s still only 41 degrees though.

I’m using my 140 setback mag with a 14/24 for now. I don’t have the impeller for my 148 non-setback mag yet, but as soon as I do, I’ll do some back to back testing against the 140.

Also just using the B-Pipe for now. I’ll try out my new PFP sometime within the next four weeks. I’ll need to do some minor glass work to the hull to fit it, hence the delay.

I’m planning on taking it on a four day trip to the Oregon coast next weekend – probably not ideal conditions to get used to that motor.

I’m super stoked on this and can’t wait to see how she rides with a significantly bigger motor, different pump and pipe compared to last year.

I hope to have it in my hands Friday.
Far as I know, he's installing your ignition. I sent him the installation manual yesterday.
