I just ordered riser bars and a heavy duty steering cable for this.
I hope to install it before the weekend.

Did you get these mounted up yet? And, did you order the RRP system or the Kommand system?

I need a new setup and have been tempted by the Kommand system because I can start with the plate and use my bars, then maybe add the riser setup later.

I ordered a Blowsion steering plate, Blowsion Phat Klamp, and Blowsion Riser bars.
Installed it last Friday and rode with it on Saturday. Very comfortable ride position , I am pretty happy with it.
Getting back on the ski is a bit harder than before.

You will get use to the higher bars real quick, if you pad the pole a bit higher to your "reach-with-elbows-down" limits, you find surfing with the pole on the hood is awsome. And yes they are all the way down in the pic below.

I don't have riser bars, but my poll is cut and welded strait. So it's like having riser bars and whenever I ride a ski without riser bars I don't like the riding position at all when the pole is on the hood. Just my .02

Imma try a shorter RN pole on this over the winter. I love the pole length now, but I want to see how a much shorter pole (like -5) will change my body position for flatwater flips.

Seemed too long for me also the short time I tried it. Tem did tell me the adj. xmetal pole is a perfect match.

I'm gonna send the pole to Tem to have him shorten it a bit. If I want it longer, I can always adjust with the riser bars.

I'm also plotting and planning a little motor upgrade for next year. :sneaky:
My current setup will probably be for sale soon.

What do you got?
I think we're looking for something 22-26ft (Prefer smaller), 5-15 years old.

Smaller is better now. Ours is a toad, but gets the job done. It's a 32' with one big slide. We picked it up about 6 yrs ago. We love it, but the kids are all almost gone and it's a bit too much for us now. I'd like the size you are looking at so we could tow the skis behind the camping trailer. It's a bummer using multiple vehicles. Prices on RV's are pretty good now. I've seen some pretty good deals on cl.

Yep, I'm waiting on a good deal to pop up on Craigslist. We got three boys that will be going with us for a number of years to come, but I still like smaller. The bunk bed models are cool, but I think you gotta go to 26ft minimum for that.

I would think you will still do fine at your length. Keep your eyes open. The extra room is nice, but for the most part the table makes a bed for a couple kids as will a couch. So with that you will be able to sleep 6 including you and the wife's bed. And you are a smart guy as far as wrenching if the trailer needs a bit of love.

Motor is out and ready to be sold.
I need to pull the pole off, but I've been too lazy.
I won't be ready to install the new motor until March. So, some time off then.

Well, I guess I'm having another build coming this winter - sort of. Same hull setup, but the power plant will be a major upgrade.
I had a 763cc Jetworks big bore that I just sold and shipped out.
Art is building me a 10mm stroker ADA cylinder motor, 89mm bore - so 970cc.
I'll be using the same dual 46 BlackJacks I ran on the last motor, but I am upgrading to a Dominator manifold and M16 reed blocks.
Same ATP TL as before, same B-mod pipe, same 140mm mag but with a steeper impeller.

That will be a run ride.
Has Art built that setup yet? It will be interesting to see how it compares to the 'other guys' big boy PV engines...
They're going to be mad when you make more power :woot:
