Awesome! Mine's a 2001 2500 4x4 diesel so the swap would be the same... I don't wanna derail your build thread too badly but i did do the swap myself so if you have questions I'd be glad to answer them for you. If you're a diesel enthusiast that likes diesel power and have an exhaust you'll love to shift your own gears!

I hate shifting.. Kinda like rowing a boat down the road. For me and my job a stick is a real pita. But when repairs are needed and you want to pick up a mile, or two a gallon it's the way to go.

I got stuck in NYC traffic once and I was real pissed but other than that I prefer it. I even plowed snow in driveways and commercial parking lots and I still preferred it.

Matt spent more time wrenching than riding. That is usually what a shake down cruise is all about. He always made it back in without a tow. First the exhaust came loose from the bulkhead. That got enough water in the hull to make the ebox act up. He di-electric greased all the connections and it worked until he closed the box. It was time to call it a day. There is still the rest of the weekend.
