That's enough for tonight. Just got ignition programming, fuel lines, tank and battery left.

That motor looks great keep us updated on a ride report. Art just sent me my curve for my ignition. Hopefully things will go smoothly and I will get to try it out this weekend.

F'n finally. Four bad batteries later, I'm ready to roll. Gonna drop it on the river early in the morning, then head out to the Oregon coast.

So hows it run? Are you still using a jetworks battery? How much run time do you get between charges? Are you running straight avgas now or are you still mixing 50/50?

Still mixing. Running a borrowed Jetworks battery for now. I only got 15 minutes on it this morning before I lost cooling to the head pipe.
I had to hurry to get on the road to the coast...but now I'm in a tow truck on the way back into town. :soapbox:

Stupid Dodge transmission.
I think I blew a fluid line at the cooler. Truck and toyhauler getting towed back home, separately

I'm waiting to hear stuff like: "Holy Sh*t! This thing hits like a raped, roided ape on meth with a boil on his ass that just saw another ape trying to get with his best lady!" Not some sap about getting towed home. C'mon get your stories together. There's people out here depending on you. Jeesh...talk about selfish.

Short ride report then! :bigok:

I took it out on the river early this morning to make sure everything runs okay. I got only 15 minutes in before a cooling line to the headpipe popped off the bulkhead fitting. :soapbox:
I didn't try any inverts or anything crazy right out the gate (keep in mind that I was by myself in 42 degree water). Did a few setup wakes and they launched me way further than what I am used to.
It has very controllable power, ready at your fingertips. The motor has very linear power and has gobs of torque. It just wants to PULL!
I didn't get on the throttle much. I'll ride this weekend whether I go to the coast or not, so more ride report to come.

PS: Everything was spot on. I didn't touch the carbs at all, the impeller in that tiny 140 pump doesn't seem to slip anywhere (UNLIKE MY DAMN TRANSMISSION ARRGGGHHHHH!!)

The best mod I did to my Dodge 2500 diesel truck was swap in a 6 speed manual for the automatic. Hopefully your transmission is fine.
