Well, after the waterbox puked out a couple of baffles and I solved some electrical issues, it ran freaking awesome!
Real linear big power everywhere. Unreal pull and throttle response, but very predictable (sort of, it still surprises me sometimes!)
Super crisp. The 140 feels good, but it's spinning hard in white wash.

Something Art cooked up. It pulls up a little later than the XFS curve you had, but also pulls back later

I've got about ten gallons through it now. I'm still fighting an intermittent electrical issue.
For those ten gallons, it was awesome!
I think I posted some detailed first impressions earlier in this thread?
I'm hoping to get everything figured out by this weekend and get some more flat water time on it .... But my upcoming master's defense, vehicle troubles, and work keep me very busy

Hope you get the electrical problems figured out. I did see you previous post about initial thoughts, but I was hoping you had gotten more time on it and were ready to share with all of us!!! Good luck with it !

Alright, a bit of an update. I finally had a chance to ride a bunch of flatwater today. I swapped out the stock tank for a Jazz 3 gallon (thanks billybo!) and put a Ballistic 12 cell in.
I nailed the second flip I tried, a little bit more than plate to plate. That's a first for me.
The power is just everywhere. I've mentioned it before, but it's a motor with a very linear power curve. There are no surprises anywhere. That actually makes it easier to ride than my last motor which had a very pronounced light switch effect.
This BlackJack Performance/Jetworks built ADA stroker has great linear power, yet very controllable.
I tried a bunch of flips and I'll admit that I failed more often than succeeded. (And the water was 42 degrees, lol) I plate-to-plated a few and nosed a few in and rode out.
I got to get back into the groove - last time I really rode flatwater was in August or September.

The 140 pump feels alright, hooks up great, doesn't spin. Still, I think the 148 will give more bottom end to really let that engine put the power down. Unfortunately Skat is taking their sweet time to ship my impeller. :soapbox:
I'll put the Powerfactor pipe on it after trying the 148 - one thing at a time, I want to really be able to tell a difference with component swaps.

My buddy Cam was nosing in/almost plate-to plating flips without using trim at all.
We got video of all of it, but I'm waiting to get it and I'll need to edit it.

Yes, off my own wake. Ebox wasn't the problem after all, some wiring in the flywheel area needed attention

Put the pfp on with the 140 pump while you wait for the impeller. Then you can say you tried every combination.

I forgot!
I wonder how come your prop is taking so long. I just ordered a custom prop and had it within the second week. I guess it is hitting their busy season. What pitch are you going with, or is it a secret secret.
