Looked like you were going a little fast and were a little late trying to hit it. Why don't you try the steeper wave right off the stern of the boat...?

My roommates boat is a 21 foot center console with no weight in the back so it doesnt throw the best wakes. I tried hitting them all, and he was trying to figure out what combination of trim and speed throws the best wake. My best flip attempt was actually off the wave right off the stern, but we didnt get that on video.

Picked up the new JetWorks CSS (Over the Pivot Steering). After riding a good bit, it seemed like my pole needed to be just a little bit shorter, so instead of chopping the pole more, I bought this steering system. Essentially, I shortened my pole another inch or two. I should be back on the water tomorrow or Wednesday, and I plan on chasing every wakeboard boat I can find until I can land a backie!

So far, I am impressed with the new JetWorks CSS. The machining looks good, and it is so simple that it is one less thing I have to maintain. I will probably get a set of riser bars to see if I like those with this setup.

Man I don't know how you guys ride with straight bars. Have you tried a ski with some bars that have rise and sweep?

I'm talking about bars that aren't zero degree. Hate the standard riser bars too. They are still straight, zero degree. Something like an mx or mt bike bar. Doesn't necessarily have to "rise" that much.

Matt, are you running bar extensions? Those look wide?

Yep, I have extensions on my straight bars. Do I have any reasons for having them on? I dont think so, I think it was just an impulsive purchase and I decided to use them lol. I think I planned to get riser bars, but never actually ran riser bars.

Try without them, I bet you never run them again! :)

If I remember correctly, I am only running them because one was being super stubborn and wouldnt come off! Ill attack them this weekend with an impact or something lol. Can I fit the start stop switch and trim lever on the left side without the extensions though?

That pole is already so short and high off the hood and you want to put risers on?! I hated risers bars on a super jet... Make sure you side mount on the left side...!

I like to cruise around with my pole on my pole pad when I get tired...but I am guessing I will probably like this setup just as it is.

Edit: Why side mount on the left? You mean in water? I just mount it straight from the back....usually hang out on the tray for a couple seconds. She floats real nice.

Maybe someday I will actually put a bilge pump in it lol. But it honestly takes on hardly any water and when it does, it goes right out the versi-plugs

Yes you can.... I had to dremel open the one side of the start stop housing because it starts going up the taper. But, do it right and it looks like it came that way.

I just can't see you being able to reach the bars from the back of the ski after adding risers! So grab the bars from the left side of the ski so you're not pulling the carbs into whatever water may be in the bilge...
