It is one thing to copy another's product and make some changes, etc. You can debate the ethics of copying and changing other work, etc. but to copy another's product and then also use their logos, graphics, and web site address on your 'product' is or should be illegal. We should collectively ban and ostracize anyone caught doing this from this forum.

One thing I never really understood...Do people that make all these copies of molds think they are actually going to strike it rich or something? Making a mold takes a good chunk of change and time, and one people figure out your work is terrible, you wont make any money. I dont get it.

I've ridden a couple of Chans and really liked them so I won't knock the hull at all and Steve is a good dude but that's an SXR based bottom deck and the hull design was also based off a Rok-R which is no secret so for you to come on here pointing fingers at an Aquabot is hilarious and hypocritical. This thread is about a pizz poor splash of a CarterB nose and other crappy splashed products by 1 person and people having negative feedback all over the place on him. Backi Chan and Aquabot don't directly resemble any other hull out there and are not a direct splash. The bottom decks are much different on both of them than any other hull. There are many other hulls out there that are a closer copy of another than both of these. I think the Aquabot and Backie Chan are both great hulls that have helped push the industry.
