Hardest part is that I bought the ebox used from someone so I don't know for sure if it was good before I got it of where to even begin. Only good news is that we arent going out any time soon around here so I have time.

Start with your start/stop switch by disconnecting the stop switch connector, then your starter relay, check all your grounds then check for power to the starter.

Purchased a RTR ski in "perfect shape, perfectly tuned," and built by Kommander, off this site. ( It only had a little work done by kommander and the guy never paid for it) The seller said if shipping was over 350 he would pay the difference. (shipping was over 350 and he never paid and said he never said that). Got the ski and rode it for a few hours and it blew up! The guy never replied to me and hasnt logged on the site since. Talk about getting screwed lol.

Bought a brand new 2012 Yamaha FX SHO. While riding, quite a bit of water would get inside. Dealer didn't believe me at first, until they put in on the water. They kept the ski at least 3 weeks without finding the cause, during which time I was very patient and cooperated with them. Eventually they gave me another one, which I own now. A couple of weeks later, the service advisor called me and said they had found the problem. A faulty gasket (where the top attaches to the hull). Found it by filling it with water completely (had filled it with water before but not all the way). It was a very frustrating experience, I spent about 10 hours on the water trying to troubleshoot the darn thing...

Not having enough money to finish my ski and having 90% of a ski sitting on the stand for what will likely be most of the summer, first time being ski-less in 9 years.

Taking lake ready boats to the surf to find out they were not surf ready... Spending a week wrenching on the beach so other people could ride and then break my skis. Then spend more time wrenching to repeat the whole process over and over.

camping last weekend, and the wife's Riva red pipe decides to spring a bad leak in the water jacket. It sucks because we wer all excited to get our new puppy on the water. It was our last day up there , and that pipe is such a PIA to install, I haven't even started to fix it.

I had a rough off season blowing money chasing down what ended up being a blown cdi. After I figured that out I bought a pipe as my yearly upgrade with part of my tax return. Shortly after receiving the pipe and before it was even installed I snapped a pole. A generous forum member hooked me up, thankfully, a few weeks ago.

I was finally RTR and against my better judgement I thought it is appropriate to tackle installing the pipe. Turns out there were brackets no longer made and various little things missing I needed to order. Thank god for grinders. After a week and a half down I finally got it done though. Of course today it's a thunderstorm so I can't go tune my carb :(.

Ahhhhhhh, jet skis. I still love em.
