I am glad you are alright. Sounds like a scary afternoon/evening. The main thing is that you are ok. The ski is fixable and sounds like it is ready to go. Thank goodness the Coast Guard was nice enough to help.

I have managed to rig up a tip over switch from suzuki GSXR's that I use on a bilge pump attached to the hood of my ski. It's a horse shoe shape, so when the boat turns over it, it starts pumping out. 1100GPH pump. It works good, just going to set it up with auxiliary battery source so it won't drain the starting battery. YTX9 or 12 would be perfect size for under hood application.

Sealed up the tip over unit with plumbers tape and wrapped in electrical tape. Has worked for 3 summers now.
