Custom/Hybrid My long awaited RICKTER xfr build xfs

I rode my buddies 771 right before I hoped on my 950 and all I rode prior to that was a riva modded 701. I was blown away with the 771 ii loved that. And that was in a superjet (munki's) I really think you will be happy with it. The hull has such fun pop. I have really only got 30minutes of riding on my xfs because the fiance is in the hospital with internal bleeding (horse accident) and that's where all my time is right now

congrats! Mine is coming in 17 days.... too bad season is almost over...but the swap should take maybe like 2-3 nights I suppose... how do you think a 727cc motor with some porting and bolt ons will do comparing to 950 cc monster that you have?
Its all about how you tune your motor to your riding style, the typical advice on this site is a great place to start, I spent a lot of time tuning my ski, found little tricks that worked and some didn't, Play around with your screws on your pipe and it might suit your riding style better, I also went thru 3 impellers and everytime I changed impellers I got more and more of what I wanted. We haven't spent anytime (yet) tuning the 950 to trueriders style, (after this weekend when ever your free buddy I promise) Ive got a few ideas for you buddy we will wake her up! (Its already pretty sick)

love this pic

k i got that jetworks flo-control valve and new steering nozzle so i will definetly be installing it soon. I leaned the carb out just a 1/4 turn on the high and the low because the plugs were pretty wet. I also got a new coil to so hopefully that solves my no spark issue. if not i got my epic apart right now so hopefully its one of the 2. i will post some ride pics and video as soon as i can but you'll have to be patient i have no idea when i will be riding again. she goes into surgery probably tommorrow and the hopefully recovery from there on.

Yes you have to make her #1, otherwise she can make your riding time miserable, lol! No, seriously hope she gets better soon Ryan! Your steering stop should be there today too.

Thank you Vin and everyone for the support she is doing a little better hopefully get out of the hospital in the next few weeks. Havnt had a chance to touch the rickter, i lost all spark for some reason too. i got a new coil but its probably something with the epic.

ok so i replaced coil with a jss and then i took out the epic and put an msd in with no luck so then i put stock one in and still no spark. switched plugs and battery out to.....HELP. LOL... next will be the stator

put in new stator and light weight flywheel. (thanks to badvinny for once again saving the day) and had GREAT spark. took it for a ride and had stupid amounts of power landed right on my back a few times. i wasnt able to do much because the steering is off and i am unable to turn to the left with decent amounts of torque. new steering cable should be here today even though my current one looks fine. hope to have some "GOOD" riding in soon with some video for a in depth ride report.

few pictures from last october!
