Woah, That's just your plug? What kind of materials are you going to make your final product out of? Looks cool

looks very cool. It seems like it would be hard to save money if you are only making one. Are you planning on selling them too?

Way to go! Looking good so far, very unique, Im in the same boat, wanted a hull very badly but couldnt just throw $$ at it right now, so I am building my own, once it is finish I might take a plug off it and produce a couple more for buddies and back ups, and if I sell 1 or 2 along the way then great.

Keep it up, I know first hand how frustrating it can become, but one day all the hard hours will pay off..

yes this is just the plug !! fot now it is gona be wet lay-up . later on mayby some carbon parts . yesterday i was making a mould of the hood . and tonight i will make a mould of the top deck . i am glad you like it

Whats the bottom deck based off of? Will it have the 'bubble' like the BOB or other BF skis?

Pretty cool plug... can't wait to see your results.

the bottom deck is based of a 08 superjet as for the depth of the strakes but it is shorter and wider
i shaped it myself , and it is still progressing

telefoon foto's 009.jpgtelefoon foto's 004.jpgtelefoon foto's 002.jpgthe last few days i made a mould of the hood and the topdeck . the hood is perfekt but the topdeck did not come lose of the plug . for now i leave it on the plug and first fix the bottom deck , make a mould of the bottom deck and then scrap the plug

This is great! Looking good so far.

That's because you have a few areas that need more draft. What did you use for tooling gelcoat for the mold? It appears that you didn't use any.

The framework for that top deck needs to have more than 2 pieces of plywood supporting it. A good flange always helps to strengthen the mold.
