I would take speedfreaks advice about getting your money and such Marco72 otherwise you may be like him and waiting six months for it to be taken care of. I would get your money and buy the hood from someone else more deserving.

I talked to Robert today and the crank that they got its my crank. I am so happy that I finally got all my stuff back. It only took 6 months so I can start all over. I can't wait till this place goes belly up just so no body has to deal with this clown again.

That a mature response let me tell ya. All I know is no one better mess with my hull or there is going to be issues!
I would never do anything to someone else's stuff... that is like beating up your brother for something you have done...

I talked to Robert today at Jetworks and the crank that they received is mine so I am officially done with mark. I hope that he goes belly up soon so that he can't screw anybody else.

I would never do anything like that. That is like beating up a buddy of yours for something that you had done in the past. But I am all for" an eye for an eye"

Just a quick update folks;

Mark contacted me yesterday and explained the situation. Apparently his UPS account was a bit delinquent and the hood/nose piece never left the station. As can be expected, he (like most folks) was inundated with the Holiday madness, and wasn't in the shop much. I can appreciate that. He is supposed to be straightening it out today and will be sending the tracking numbers soon. With any luck, I should have it by next week (hopefully before Daytona.....assuming I can still sneak away and go!).

As frustrated as I am over this (I really wanted to get my graphics mounted and show off a decent looking ski at Daytona), he seems like a decent fellow, but perhaps having come unto some hard times. I can empathize with situations like that, and know how difficult it can be to own/manage a small business (even a successful one). I'm a firm believer in second chances and giving a guy/gal a fair shake. However, how's it go....fool me once, doom on you....fool me twice, doom on me? I'll see what happens next week.

I won't be putting any limpet mines on any jet skis or anything though.....let's leave em out of it. As tough as it can be sometimes....we gotta take the high road. Thanks for all the advice. Speedfreak, hang in there brother....thanks for the help and info, I hope things work out for you too.

Six days and counting......

I would call UPS when you get it next month to see if he is really lying... err I mean telling the truth.

I am done with him. I called the Dect. and told him thanks that I got my stuff back and we are done... I just wish he would have done the work and not waited 6 months to give me my broken stuff back. I gave him countless chances just to say "I dropped the ball... I will get on it next week"... But it didn't turn out that way.

I can't get the 6 months I lost back. So I am chucking it up to experience.
