Custom/Hybrid My thoughts about my EME Sky and EME

Yea dude, gotta act sooner rather than later.

First foot holds I bought and put in this winter, got some EME ones. Talk about some pos holds. Each one had to be modified and cut up differently to go flush with the tray. And for some reason each hold had a different type of resin used on it....

The comments are a bit harsh. I can tell you from experience you'll have similar problems when buying a half million dollar boat. These are niche high performace handmade custom specialty boats. It is what it is, these aren't major mfg automobiles. They are sorting out the problems and handling it from what has been posted. That's really all you can ask for.

I had thought Noloan had worked out issues with Eric awhile ago, I havent been in the shop for awhile to know exactly what is going on.
Eric is on a trip at this point in time and i hope your able to resolve it when he returns

How can you come on here and post such short winded responses to the issue at hand, especially with a name such as EME Direct?
All we've heard from you are excuses so far. You have Eric's contact. If Eric is the man who needs to take care of this I suggest you let him know that many of the users on this sight are quickly losing respect for EME and thier products. The length that this have been drawn out already is complete BS. Nolan and his family are supper cool people, and IMO being WAY to nice about this whole situation.

i was definitely think of going EME for my next hull but with all this commotion i'm starting to think other wise. i hope EME can get this major issue fixed and redeem their selves so that i don't have to go looking at different hulls!

I have not been in the shop for nearly 1 and a half months. I have a lawn operation going that took off early this year. Why are my posts short? I dont know the terms of what is going on between the two of them...I had told eric of what was going on here. Last i heard of this was right before i had gone to work for myself. And all was fine. I dont want ANYONE to lose respect for a few small issues that has come about. The skis are great, many who own them will tell you that, even my Aerial is a blast Even my footholds which i turfed myself arent how i like them....thus i will have to make an adjustment or two. I havent been able to contact eric since he is away...He will be back on the 16th of april.

I was also under the impression that this was resolved with eric and nolan...it was again brought up to me this morning when i logged on.
Im not sure why, but it seems as though there are people out there who have beef with us, and just stirred the pot again.

maybe you should log on you old account for these kind of comments. posting as EME Direct flat out doesn't look good and im sure Eric doesn't appreciate it. to everyoe else it looks like EME Direct has been out of the loop of their own business for a month and a half and is now focusing on being landscapers instead of building hulls............. it just looks stupid imo.

^100%.
With a username like "EME DIRECT", it is expected that you are a big part of the company... (taking this from an outside standpoint on someone looking in),
It looks like eME is not in its own company honestly... It looks like EME is more concerned with landscaping then solving a very expensive mishap...
You are expected to be the person that is taking care of it, and one helping to get this whole thing settled... Not someone thats working on landscaping stuff..

If I were Eric, Id make a point to get on here ASAP and get this settled...

Sounds like you'd have better luck with Waterdawg than EME at this point. I couldn't agree with you more Zack. Should we be contacting EME for our lawn care needs as well? Lose the name if your not a DIRECT contact to EME.

As for the OP-do NOT put stock electrics in and ride. Don't touch that thing or they'll claim it was your decision to accept it all and move on or that you had something to do with the issues. Don't even let it touch the water. It'd be on the way back to EME if it were mine. Ship it to Eric at his vacation destination right to the front door if possible :)

Great point by ADDict.. don't touch a thing... as he said, in legal eyes, that means you accepted the product, and that you touched/worked on product, and EME Can say you caused the issues, leave it as is, exactly how it arrived.

No need for Eric to get on here. OP will get on here and tell us that Eric has done everything possible to make this right and that he couldn't be happier with the results if EME does the right thing. EME shouldn't have to have a presence on the forums. Not sure why they are still responding, or letting someone reply with their name anyway.

For You guys that like to snowball the issue, I own an eme Q8, Its awesome.I am Also very good friends with both Eric and Brenden. Both of which are very very busy guys. Eric is a workhorse,so is Brenden. If it was stated that eric will resolve the conflit with the buyer, he will as best he can. Eric Took Brenden on in 2010 part time which Brenden has been working for himself for nearly 6 years maintaining A solid Business. Also studying Turfgrass Science at Penn State.... He is also part of eme which he will try to help with any issues. I cant speak for brenden or eric on what is going on with the buyer.

If Brenden/ EME direct has stated that the buyer has contacted Malone and the isssues are being resolved that is between the two of them....END OF STORY. stop the bashing

EME is a great company with a great product.
