I am building a lay down now for a type 9 FPP manifold.
Need to do some dyno work on it am try to get it closer to the up and over style pipe.
It be couple months before it's done and I will make a few proto types and sell to some guys for water testing.

I generally just read and learn what I can from what is being discussed. But.... Correct me I I'm wrong. Doesn't the type 9 manifold point to te rear of the boat? How will that work with a lay down pipe? And are the riva manifolds like this one the same or compatible with the type 9?

Was thinking about selling it but if I can buy a new chamber for it....

Type 8 faces front of ski. RIVA, Type 4 and 9 the exit faces the bulkhead. The new ET Billet manifold might be a possible candidate for use. Being of a new, dyno tested design, probably a better option.

I mis spoke..8 is only to face front(fpp) was thinking "octane" an belive it also used "8" w/adapt. Tim made comment using wrong description,BUT is on track with the new chambers!

Need money for manifolds can't make any money on selling chambers.
Beside there hasn't been enough orders to consider making a 25,000 investment into a manifold

figured this would be the case with the up and over pipe and a hard to find mani,or making another expensive mani. making your lay down pipe to work with a pfp mani thats already avail around 400 will be a much bigger seller, surf and flat water guys are using them now with all the large fuel tanks made to work with them

That looks super clean in the that SJ!

Really glad to hear you are still working on the triple kawi pipe! There are a ton of us with B1100's and obviously SXR's and if you spent the money to do the conversion you already spent a good amount of time and money on the ski...would definitely be interested in a kawi 1100 blaster setup! Curious what you expect for a ballpark complete triple system and what kind of gains you would expect over a dried out stock kawi pipe.

On a side note I grew up racing moto in norcal and love getting away from the track and riding Georgetown, that place is wayyyy too much fun!

There aren't enough PFP/type 8 manifolds around to run the 50 or so available RRP chambers. Good luck selling another new and unproven chamber . the bandwagons aren't circling just yet.

glad to hear you're still pursuing the kawi 1100 pipe setup.
could use 3 of them.
