been riding for the last couple of hours, the hood seal works better than what I had ( old style JSS )
BUT, you should put a thin strip of turf or something else under the D seal to make it grip tight, AND, on the cornes, I had a hard time fitting the hood.
im sure my hull isnt sqaure, and my hood isnt true, but its NOT in the groove on thfront two corners.
it still seals pretty well though.
Im glad I bought 3 of them, I will probably get the second one I install right.
with a layer of turf or padding under the D seal.
and I left the 1" gap in the rear, right over the dash board. I cant imagine it hurts much to suck a littel water there.
but, every other seal ive ever installed had a few inches of extra that was cut to fit ( future reference here Griff)
