What style nose cone is everyone running on this impeller? Impros sent me two of them and I cannot decide which one will be best?

EDIT: Used longer one.

i think one is for a blaster. im pretty sure you use the one with the smallest inside diameter on the SJ and the larger one on the blaster, but im not positive

Update: Installed today and rode about 30 minutes later. This is thee prop if you want extreme hookup and power down low, awesome midrange, and around the same top end as a skat or solas prop. Totaly recommend it to anyone who needs a new prop for their ski. Also, Im using the longer cone based on my previous cone on the concord.

Anyways, heres a few comparison pics of the solas concord(left) and impros hooker(right):

i switched mine yesterday, thanks to skinnyman for having a solas tool. i will be re installing my pump today and riding. my impeller i took of was a yb-sc-1 14.5 / 18. i guess that is why i had no bottom end hit like i wanted.

just got back from the lake with my new hooker 10/16 on a ported 701. i never realized how much my solas cavitated until i put this on. it was a night and day difference.

I wonder how many people in this thread were running the wrong prop before going to the Hooker. I'm not doubting the prop at all, I'm just wondering how many people had the wrong thing from the get go and didn't truly know it.

yes, it would be helpful if they posted what they swapped from as well wouldnt it?

for instance, if I get a hooker ( or WHEN) I will be swapping a cutback 12/15 concord.

I went from a 13/16 concord 3mm cut back to the 9/15 hooker 7mm cutback. Stock engine with normal mods. I could feel better hookup in the whitewater, but not much more bottom or overall power delivery. Didn't feel much, if any, loss on the top end either.

Thank you all for posting your responses. I'm so glad to hear you are as happy with the Hooker impeller as I am.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.

By the way, these can easily be machined to fit any C-75 magnum pump that is 140mm, or made to fit a larger Magnum pump as well (146mm).

Have a great weekend!
David

Could you provide some load comparisons between your Hookers and existing props. Which Hooker pitch equals an old Skat 9-17.
