Clearly you are new to this entire jetski junk world. These krash skis are Chinese made garbage . I get the info that I don't know from other experts that have been around for ages. Even longer that my 20+ years. They don't have the general knowledge that I do so they ask me stuff. They know things I don't. The muff Is one of my gurus. He used to be into go peds and sponsor races. His wife raced squarenose and seadoo back in the day and he was her wizard mechanic and mechanical genius. Chinese goped crap came out. It ran but when it F'd up and he tore it apart he saw the differences. The krash junk is the same. He's shocked a what they put out. It works until it takes a $hit and then you see the $hit quality of their suff.Seems like just a lot of trash talking instead of any actual information on the problems these have. I'm genuinely interested in any actual insight on these other than "Chinese garbage, don't buy!" as this endless wisdom you seem to have is not only unhelpful, but counterproductive. But I guess I probably won't get that kind of info from the guy that's forgotten more about this jetski junk than apparently others will ever know in their entire lives. Anyone else on here have any useful insight or firsthand experience with these?

I'm impressed that someone with your level of knowledge and experience is so willing to take the time out of your day to share your knowledge and experience with others on the forum. It's truly appreciated to have someone of your caliber here to troll these forums. No, that's many many years of hands on experience that very few have. I'm just thankful that I know a few that can contribute additional info to what I don't know or aren't sure of which
bro put the pipe down. No one cares you memorized the parts list for OEs. Most of that jap crap is now made in china.Clearly you are new to this entire jetski junk world. As I'm sure everyone already knows Krash is making Rickter hulls now...
Thanks for that, found the videos and see what you're talking aboutThere are some youtube vids of a Krash vendor removing the cylinder from a newer fuel injected engine. He was trying to illustrate how they held water and would freeze. I noticed the piston skirts all had damage from getting tight. This could probably be avoided with carbs tuned rich enough. It is difficult to find long term field testing done by an experienced tuner. If I come by one cheap Ill do it and report exactly what failed. I know a kid who was in Australia a year ago and visited the factory. He said they had a machine shop making parts and a lot of assembly going on. The guy at the shop said they were reluctantly trying to develop a couch because standup sales were low.
Yeah for the relaunch of Rickter 2025 hulls they're being manufactured by Krash in their Thailand factory.is there truth to this?
yes. i believe i spoke to a krash vendor last year around summertime that alluded to this. i also believe there are a few videos out now from rickter and there new hulls being produced in the same factory.is there truth to this?

as for quality of the hulls iv heard that krash has always had good hulls.
for anyone interested in the actual quality of the skis themselves, i follow a facebook group for krash skis. it seems to me that there is about 85 percent of people asking how to fix or diagnose there skis with low hours and the other 15 percent are either vendors or enjoying the ski.
i was faced with the krash dilemma a year ago asking myself if i really wanted to buy the ski or not and enough people even on the facebook forum themselves screamed no. i also asked for a workshop manual for the engines when i was inquiring about the skis and it seems that there isnt one. also the guy at competitive crankshaft i think mentioned that the engines where snow mobile engines.
i speculate that alot of these people buying these skis dont know much or anything about skis and expect them to run like a 701 superjet right out of the box. i think the reality is, they are doing something cool buy adding fuel injection and large bore engines right out of the box, it does seem like they are trying to innovate, but they suffer from alot of quality control. again this was about a year ago when i was following pretty close, i no longer care because iv gone a different direction.
when i finally said no i wasnt going that route, i ultimately decided no to be the test dummy on a 16k ski and would rather wait a few years to make something i knew had been age tested.
if i had to go with a out of the box ready ski now i would definitely go with the skis they are building now by another guy here. forgot where the link and what the name is but if you look hard enough you will find the guy who is taking orders with a aftermarket hull and a 701 platform.
Had conversation yesterday or saturday about Krash. The Hulls are fine. The Predator rides pretty damn good. Close to my Edge. But there is no way in hell I would use anything else (Motor - Driveline), Hell, dont think I would use their pole either..........I heard about the same. Allegedly the hulls are nice, and when they work, they seem to work well and have some really devout fans. To be fair, I've actually rarely heard of anyone personally having issues. I hear more from people saying that OTHERS had issues, very few personal accounts.
